I would greatly enjoy it if they changed the ~normal~ kill sound from being part of a rez file. It should be a .wav file (I think each badge kill is slightly different if I am not mistaken) So a few regular kill sounds would be nice. Then if we wanted to change the normal kill sound from the Bshh to something more exciting or appealing then we would.

Not talking about multi's, etc. Specifically the normal kill noise that we cannot currently edit.

while we're at it, we should also change the gun sounds to more realistic and add more 'fire in the hole' speeches because the one right now is kind of lame

An Audio File, Pretty much like ".mp3" which usually goes with iTunes

I really hope that the devs would implement that. They only need to separate a whole ton of stuff though..

I know what wav is, I'd like to know why he wishes wav to be added and not mp3 or any other format.

This game uses .wav format I think, at least that is what all of their sounds in radio/message are in

The mods are not the developers and have no authority over the game's content, also - they said no to the point of can I CURRENTLY change it. Which I cannot. That is why the suggestion is here - to make it so it IS POSSIBLE to change it. Logic fail.

Dude this is not Counter Strike. We can't create our own modes, we can't create dedicated servers and we can't replace the original files with custom files.

You are not reading are you. I do not want to have the ability to change the rez file. I do not want the ability to modify any game file except sound. I want the NORMAL kill sound REMOVED from the REZ FILE and have it PLACED in the MESSAGE FOLDER. Am I clear enough for your thick skull yet?

that's exactly what I said. We are not allowed to change anything from the game and the sounds are a part of the game too :rolleyes:
