Spraying in Ghost Mode
I love GM, I'm usually playing it whenever I finish my Dailys, and I've met a lot of good people playing GM. But, alas, I'm not here to talk about the GOOD people that I've met in this thread, but this is about the SPRAYERS. The ones with a SMG(Usually the thompson), ARs, or MGs that go to town, running out of ammunition around the one minute mark. The people that just DESTROY my hearing.
Yes, I have raged because of them, infact, my telling them to stop spraying and apparently, it just makes me a 'QQ NOOB'. Well, I'm trying to help the team win! (And knife ghosties. Hehehe. >;3) But no, they insist on spraying, and yet, it surprises me when they have a positive KD. What is this witchcraft?! I just can't deal with them.
So, I'm asking you, the community, to tell me...
How the heck do you deal with these ear-breaking sprayers?
And if you ARE a sprayer then...
Just get out.

They manage a positive KDR because most ghost are ******ed when it comes to playing and the sprayers are literally shoot every nook, cranny, corner, hallway, and open room and ending up killing the ****** ghost that either charge at the wall of bullets or sit still intill the bullets kill them
The smart ghost avoid the spraying area and wait for them to run out of ammo.
Most of my deaths in GM as GR are either because I couldn't hear the ghost behind me due to the spraying or defusing the bomb with the bad cover of sprayers.
I Mostly try to put distance between me and the sprayers, if that isn't possible then I camp in a area where its incredibly difficult for the ghost to get to me with out me seeing them. -

Play with friends/clan mates that dont spray then :O
Or just go to the other side of the map if everyone who sprays rushes one side. -

Also sound is very useful in GM.
Agreed with this guy^^ Without sound, my kd in gm would keep dropping, i used to have an embarrassing .5 kdr in gm and when i learned to pinpoint and used some decent headphones, it went up to a 1.4 in a matter of like 4-5 months. -

If I wasn't kicked out of nearly every GM game I play I would have a 5.0+ GM KDR and at least 40,000+ more kills. I play a lot GM, to the point that I use Gatling Gun and Uzi to make it harder on me. (Still get 20+/0 KDRs with them too.) -

Ah, the lost amount of kills and exp and gp from that 'no penalty' window. Its become like a brother to me its so familiar. =3 -

The best thing for you to do (if your in Lab map) Run to the vents and sit in there till they run out of ammo to spray with lol.... But i never do that I dont really like the vents xD I usually just rush BL base most of the time all bl are already gone and you get away from the sprayers who usually run around from a to b site spraying at everything :P But just be careful some ghosts catch on that your running to their base and lie in wait for you :P -

It's even worse when half the ghosts have breath and sound down, and your team has sprayers. You almost have to bump into them to know they are there. -

try to seperate from the users of loud guns
thats what i do when i play GM and want to hear ghosts
if a ghost spots u he maybe want to get u and since u 2 are alone u will hear him perfectly -
You learn to PP while your spraying.
I always tell ppl that you can PP among heavy bursting but most don't believe me =p
It can be done with some practice, you just have to listen to the small gaps of silence and guess/interpolate the rest.
Unless it's non-stop, FULL METAL JACKET-style spraying

Why is it always about the bad people? Can't it be once in a while about the good ones out there ?
Anyways:
Sprayers have always been here and will always be here, thinking of the old days back in '09 nearly every1 was spraying as we all were new to this game and now there are still people new to this game and if they stop spraying what else should they do? they prolly dont have a headset or just dont know how to pinpoint..
How to deal with them? I'm tryin to keep a proper distance to those people, as u won't hear their spraying as loud as if u stood next to them (obviously). -
I would just stop playing gm theres only Brs or High pingers now a days but if you really cant look for people that are in gm clan usually they have a good game going and there isnt many gm clans anymore so go to alpha most of them are in there.
Btw Key to beating sprayers if your playing lab is you camp in vents until every1 is dead^^ for pubs at least.
