Hey i am new to crossfire and i was wondering which handgun is the best, The Desert Eagle or the MK Socom. please reply this post soon.

The desert eagle is the best GP pistol in the game.

The Desert Eagle Camo, which you can obtain through the Black Market, is the best pistol in the game.

it depends on what you like the mk is cheaper and more for triger happy people the d eagle is for accurate shots and has less ammo per clip but more power it depends try asking people to try it out in game. compare and contrast. i prefer mk though..

The Deagle is nearly always a 2-3 hit kill at most ranges. Socom is a 3-4 hit kill.
The Socom needs to be fired at least at 6 rounds per second before it matches the Deagles DPS. But at that rate or higher the recoil will make its shots spread to far for anything but close quarter combat, at long ranges you need to fire slower to keep accuracy. But at slower rates the Deagle beats it.
If the Socom had less recoil it would be better then Deagle.

The deagle stops being a 2 hit kill at around 24 meters, the Socom stops being a 3 hit kill at around 20 meters. To give a idea of the range, 30 meters is about the bottom of the ramp in GR spawn in Lab to the entrance of B site from GR spawn.

Godsgunman's guide list the damage to the body parts at different ranges, the fire rate or RPS, and the ammo. I helped with data collection for the guide.
And for the recoil, I own both and have been using them. The Socoms recoil kills it.

Deagle beats it just barely at close range and wins hands down at medium and long range.

MK23 Rps is 7.2
Deagle RPS is 4.7

MK23 DPS 198.0
Deagle DPS 206.3

dude.. Deagle is obviously better, especially when you are new.. it is way higher damage than the socom. Socom is only good if you can hds very well.. it has fast RoF, and bad damage.

i would say deagle is better, but socom is good with a sniper. If you leg shot you can pull out your socom and spray because u have an extended clip than deagle and they should be low on hp after the leg shot. For me i have the msg90 which is 2 shots everywhere, usually 97 each. I hit them once and pull socom = dead

If you can get headshots in 1/2 a second then the Anaconda is for you.

Deagle is the best one.

MK socom is good, but doesn't have the range.

It's a close quarters gun, like it's supposed to be, as it is a pistol.

It's very useful in GM, when you are pinpointing.

Deagle does more damage then Anaconda, has a faster fire rate, and more ammo per clip.
Anaconda feels more accurate tho for long range.

theorically one thing , but I can frag almost TWICE on scrims using the SOCOM , BECAUSE I do a consistant 60+ damage to my targets , or a 81 dmg with a snyper in some cases , when the enemy guys are at 20 or more hp 1 shot with a 13 mag pistol would kill them , that's a huge advantage comparing to a deagle beause a player with that skill level can easily do a 5K so 7 bullets to kill him against other 13.

DE is better, but I enjoy using my MK23. It's not as powerful but it works.
