The Crossfire Downloader Doesn't Work?

I removed CF from my PC due to exams, now when i tried to download it again, it is making me download this crossfire downloader, apparently faster. When i download it and run it, it says [E 8] Can not get game information. What should i do?

1st) Why would you remove a game during exams when it is much easier to just not use your computer at all?

2nd) Clean up all instances of crossfire, make sure it is uninstalled, and any setup files regarding CF are deleted.

3rd) Download the setup file from one of the mirrors. Don't use the downloader.

Im sorry to tell you one_9 but even if we download the game from a mirror it doesn't work

uninstall , run Ccleaner , turn off antivirus , reinstall

You usually get this error when the servers are down, all I can say is try again. If that doesn't work PM me and I'll add you on MSN and TeamView you and I could most likely fix your error I am a computer wiz and have been playing CrossFire for 2+ years.

Well I understand that there was a problem on the website today, I could see that the login server was kind of buggy, which led to the clan server part also being buggy.

But maybe right now you can try it, as I can see at the top of the page I can deposit ZP and see my forum name
