Hey guys,

I just updated my Anti-virus program (AVG) and first it deleted the whole game. I tried and re-installed crossfire but it did not work.

I did follow these steps;

After following the above steps, I did get through until the patch came up.....i patched it till half way and then another error came up.

The error was;

Wrong CRC has been detected.

It is really starting to annoy me. I have uninstalled and re-installed Crossfire at least 7 times. It takes about 30-50min to download the game each time and its annoying me so much now.

Can anyone PLEASE help me with this issue that i am having???

oh....and the launcher is glitched? it comes up with prison tale instead of Crossfire...

Pleaseeeeee help.

Ok first to save yourself time just download to the most recent patch you can , then save the download i save mine at 1073.

AVG is known to conflict with CF , Delete AVG and download something else.

if you still want AVG then try turning off AVG when patching/loading crossfire then turn it back on when ur in channel lobby

What do u mean by saving the file at 1073? where is that? how do i do that?

Where do i download the latest patch file??

cf folder and start patcher_cf.exe

avg does great! but should disable cache server... to avoid some fps drops
