German and Japanese

Beginning of the war Japan's weapons we're ingenious. Such as their torpedoes, unlike the horrible American ones that we're horrible in tropical weather but performed nicely in cooler climates.
However, as it progressed the Americans were able to compete with the Japanese. The new fighters, F4U, Hellcats, etc could now compete with the Japanese Zero. Not to mention the P-38 (fastest propeller aircraft of the war) that shot down Admiral Yamamoto's plane.
The Japs we're in WWII are like Americans now. Wasting money on useless huge monstrous things. The Japs made useless battleships and now the Americans are making useless carriers.
WWII pacific front only though. -

Japanese*
And not necessarily. The navy of the Japanese was by far superior than that of the allies and the planes and aircraft of the Germans were far superior to that of the allies. Had they deployed their technologies earlier in the war, it would have been devastating.
Let us just consider the Japanese super subs, or the German jets and their air to air missiles. Just consider these elements before saying its a "waste" of money. -

um i hope you're trolling, Japan's navy was horrid, they lost due to the fact they refused to adapt, aircraft carries were the main thing that won the war in the pacific and Japan kept relying on battleships which became obsolete once hit and run became effective. by the time they started to switch most of their good pilots were dead so it was too late. Yes Germany was great and all but Hitler was also stupid for turning the jets into bombers, once he added the bombs to it was no longer as fast as it should have been and they were easily shot down. -

My sources conflict with that information presented. I found that rather it was their loss of midway due to American code breaking combined with the sheer power of American manufacturing numbers that caused the downfall. Until the last 2 years the Zero outmaneuvered any of the American aircraft and intelligence for the aircraft was limited to that of the USA trying to desperately name them; in other words, not able to understand why they won air scrimmages.
If anything, Japan relied most heavily on submarine warfare and tried adapted gyro technology to combat the huge unrestricted warfare that America held on the necessary oil supplies held in the dutch settlements in the pacific. Fortunately, they were unable to because of the air superiority held by the Americans by that year of 1944.
As far as no pilots and supplies, you should look into the fact that Japan had nearly 1200 prototype jet aircraft in reserve when the first bomb dropped and would have completely disintegrated the B29s that America held.
Moreover, the aircraft of the Germans was also meant for bombs. The whole concept of a spy/stealth plane was created so the Germans could potentially drop an atomic weapon on New York. Idk where you got that information but.. definitely conflicted with what I found. -

I don't find it funny.
Japan did what every country should do. Learn from the great nations of the time to improve your own nation.
Why do you think Japan was able to get the third largest Naval power behind the USA and the UK only 30 years after their forced opening? -
Only reason why Japan/Germany didn't win WW2 is because America sat out of the war for so long stockpiling supplies. Then when war came we just sent tons of troops everywhere they were then overwhelming the various areas that conflicts were. Also, unlike much of Europe and later Japan, our infrastucture was completely intact giving the US a better advantage against the Axis.
Wasn't the reason we were brought into the war that we stopped trading with Japan and to make us reconsider our actions they bombed pearl harbor? Also, if I remember correctly, didn't the US actually receive warnings before hand clearly meaning that they'd attack unless their course of action was altered?
If any of this is incorrect let me know, I'd hate to be ignorant of history. -

For one the Japanese we're stupid in the fact that they didn't target America supply ships. They just targeted military vessels. Unlike the German U-boats that constantly sunk supply ships from the US to Europe.
If the Japs had invested more of the metal they put into their battleships into submarines, that would've done more damage to the Americans. Because look what happened to the Musashi, Yamato and the rest of those huge fckers. Also, some of the Jap Battle Cruisers were so tall that a few of them tipped over due to big waves.
The Japanese Navy though was in fact superior at the start of the war. It had a strong fleet with a good Admiral in command but what's funny is that the Japanese Navy and Army almost hated each other as much as they hated the Americans. After the Japs lost in Miday, they didn't even inform the Army until a while later.
And if the Germans had put more money into the Me 262 earlier in the war, those things could've torn apart the British and American bombers and fighters.
Also, the German V-2 rockets (I think, can't remember the name for sure) took more lives to make them, then when they actually sent to London or other cities. The Germans worked the Jews on the V-2 rockets to death basically. -

Falloutt knows what he's talking about. Jap Navy was good, but like I said, they are like Americans now. Putting too much money into something that would go obsolete soon.
Good mention on the 262s being turned into bombers also, forgot that. -

There are alot of theories, but that is indeed one. -

But they did... Just not early enough. The Japanese Navy though was in fact superior at the start of the war. Yes there was a fight against the Japanese army and the navy, but lets not forget that their super sub was huge, and could have been very decisive. Its somewhat sad that their production went from 12 to 8 after Yamamoto was shot down. And if the Germans had put more money into the Me 262 earlier in the war, those things could've torn apart the British and American bombers and fighters.

Why was V-2 rockets even placed into this discussion... That has no discussion as far as air to air missiles.Falloutt knows what he's talking about. Jap Navy was good, but like I said, they are like Americans now. Putting too much money into something that would go obsolete soon.

Nuclear sub designs are obsolete? The concept of a huge subs as a power of surprise attacks by missile are plane was strictly Japanese. America's nuclear subs are all copies of the Japanese model of the I-400 with a few modifications in which it was missiles, not planes, which are deployed. -

and if they did it again it wouldn't end too well. usa is still far more superior than them combined.
This is stupid to even consider.
All of them are huge trade partners. America needs Japan just as much as Japan needs America. Germany and France are the head of the European Union and if sht goes down, then America is gonna fall.
The fact that you sheep are talking about this shows how sad Americans are and what their perceived "patriotism" really is. -

oh, oops, didn't see air to air missiles. Thought when you said missiles I assumed the V-2 rockets.
And no, I wasn't talking about submarines being obsolete. I was talking about Modern Carriers. Modern Carriers are basically useless. They can be easily found by a satellite, radar or submarines. And they are such huge targets that it's not too hard to hit them.
There's an article somewhere I read a year back I think that a Chinese sub managed to sneak into a US carrier group. -

No, I just find your lack of intelligence hilarious. Try reading kid.
And no, America couldn't fight China if they tried. Europe would bail, except for the UK which has become the lapdog of the USA.
U mad? -

Yeah... talking about which... I'm pretty scared about the new Chinese stealth ships.
Stupid China with their gunboat diplomacy. -

nobody would come close to taking out usa unless they all ganged up. but then mexico and canada would join usa then it's GG for earth.
north america runs the planet. -

Kid, China might have to bail the EU out of their problems. Just an fyi.
