Some help here please Ladies and Gentledudes..

I have CF in window mode ,as usual, but for the past couple days it seem to always be in front of the other windows. So i keep having to close it to get to the other stuff i need to open. It usually stays at the back when I open an internet browser or any other window but since the patch its been doing this. I have a screen shot below to show you what I mean. Can anyone help?

By the way, I am running Windows 7 and 64 bit.

I've got the same problem. But I thought it was from me messing around with my settings or something. Guess not.

Well..you don't have to close it. I just right click and drag it over so I can see the other windows.

I just fullscreen crossfire and alt tab. Seems to work most of the time.

Since some patch, I think back in the summertime, the windowed mode has always been set to be infront of all other windows. No way around it.

(For now xD)

Though it takes a little more processing power and could result in a crash (happened to me a couple times), do what Talon says, have it in full screen and just alt+tab whenever.

I did it a few times at once, like to check the forums, and results in that crash that has the box "Send CF error report" with an ok and all that (NOT THE WINDOWS ERROR REPORT)

This started in the last patch (not including the mini-patches), pretty annoying, I usually just drag it down to the bottom right corner and leave it be.

Right click on Crossfire, and drag it out of view. Fixed (Kind of).

Use the Alt+Tab Feature.

Or use Task manager, go to applications tab, highlight the application you want to use, and click the command that says "bring to front".

Either 1 of those methods should get you to do what you want..
