Stupid Signatures

Used to be smaller with less text, no colour or smilies even allowed in it just a bit ago.

Seems to be a casual progression lately with the forum community of giving more freedom to do so. I believe the reason it was removed before was due to the spam and immaturity of forumers that decided to abuse it. Course I wasn't there when that rule went in place, but its only what I can assume since its the most likely.

Nothing says it won't be increased later, however I have no control of how big or small the signatures are, just saying what I know. Not disagreeing with you.

I'm just a MOD, lol got no clue whos in charge of the webmaster stuff. Could be the janitor for all I know. XD Sorry I can't be much help there. The Devs usually just code the game, so chances are its the Z8 company you want to inquire about such. Could ask the GM's.

Signature limitations:

Because the content of your post should be more important than a picture or message in your signature.

Signature text was originally limited to a "tweet" which is 140 characters which in this day in age is pretty standard.

Signature images require some technical issues that for now the boards are ready to handle. Plus the chances that people would abuse them with **** or other type of content is high, and the tools to properly moderate that are low. Plus the population is so high.

Adding colour and stuff is a first step to allowing the community some more freedom and so far it's gone over well.

Forum population high? And how hard is it to delete images. I've been on other forums with a ton more of people and fewer mods than here and signatures were still kept under control. (And even the trolling)
But I'm not really complaining, I could care less for more things for signatures.
