I'm here to present to you my new cf movie:

I wanted to try something different from the other edits as usual and this time i tried to make a vid with an asian song from an anime.

Yeah... I used windows movie maker... I dont have SV...
Some frags are from pubs and others are from cws.
I'll be glad to give you some demos if you want.

Well i used some efects, there's not much to do with movie maker, i tried to sync at key parts, but yeah i need to work out on that.

You have long way to go.
Don't listen to this advice. Any guides beyond the very basic program introductions are usually detrimental to your progress. It's much, MUCH better to learn the program via experimentation, and ask people who know the program specific questions any time you can't figure out how to do something. -

Watching guides helps more than anything.
You just waste time with normal movie maker.

When you watch the guides, you test it for yourself.
Otherwise its just waste of time -.-..
Learning all by yourself isnt as effective as watching guides.
In guides you can learn things in 5mins what would had taken you over 2hours. -

Only if you have no clue what your doing. But you don't need 5 hours of guides for that, you need 10 minutes. Something I already said. -
I'm saying that 10 minutes of guides (the basics of the program you're learning), and access to a friend who can answer any specific questions you might have, are the only things that are needed to start the progress of a great editor. Yes it is. I never said 10 minutes of using a program wasn't enough, only that 10 minutes (10 minutes representing my original thought, it can easily be less if you get the right tutorial) is all the time using guides you need.
I'm an editor for vM. The amount of time spent watching guides? Zero. -

That'd be true except for the fact that the sound outcome I want is impossible via editing (excluding at a professional level, aka without the use of an advanced, 3rd party audio editing program). That's like blaming a pilot's lack of training for his inability to levitate. -

No, you need a basic understanding of how sound works.
The sound of the shell and the sound of the gun are in the same audio file. I cannot, in Sony Vegas, lower the level of sound of the shell without also lowering the level of sound of the gun. This means that if I lower the sound of the shell, it makes the gun sound a) much shorter, and b) much more awkward and unnatural sounding.
AKA it's impossible to do without it sounded moronic. -
