X-trap folder doesnt exist after install

How do you get xtrap? I just looked at my crossfire folder after a fresh uninstall/reinstall and I dont seem to have a x-trap folder in there. Now I was told that it would automatically install with the game so is this a firewall problem blocking xtrap from being installed? Im on vista 32 bit and I use Iobit Malware Fighter (not on) and Microsoft Security Essentials (on) when i install or try to play the game. All .exe programs in the crossfire folder is set to be an exception.
EDIT: tried completely reinstalling with my firewall turned off and no luck so far.
