64 bit i am lagging now, before i didn't but ping spikes to 100 for no reason

any fix?

If you're using the same ram/CPU etc since XP then it won't help performance as 7 requires more power.

Si^ I haven't had any problem with mine at all so I guess you are slowing down your pc if it can barely run w7. If that's not the case then

well i have abit same problem as he.
usally i have 200 fps and good ping 50-60 on my comp at night but when i play it like from 10pm +6 est my ping goes huge(64-120) and fps drags to 80-140.How that at night my ping is normal and fps is good but in middle of the night i have problems with fps and ping? O.o

I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate, no problems for me.

If you're sure if Window's problem, do a system restore back to the last known working config.

I also find it laggy when i play on my pc with Win 7 .. so i stick to my other pc with XP an runs just fine !.

i like intel better but i sold the i3 for 150 on craigslist LOL and bought this amd 1090 for 120.. couldn't beat it. idk about the ping, it only affects cf so not a big deal..

there should be a Dword for network throtling
change the value to:ffffffffff
it shud look something like 0xffffffff

I was in your situation too man , i have windows 7 home premium and everytime i reinstall , i do this fix :
Stop and disable the "Multimedia Class Scheduler" service
* Run regedit and go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servi ces\Audiosrv"
* Double click on the entry "DependOnService" and delete the line with "MMCSS" from the text box
* Reboot and enjoy lag free games

This definetely works , i had this annoying problem too , Good Luck
