Worth it?

Well my computer is nearing the end of it's life cycle. However, I'm buying new parts to build a new computer (ATI Radeon HD 5770, AMD 770 Mobo, AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, 4GB RAM.).

As I was surfing newegg and adding things to my shopping list, I was debating on whether this game was worth coming back to after I build my new rig. I only play when my friends are online and usually they're online when I have to go to class and when I come back, they're offline. >.> My SnD/TDM experience is always better when I play with them or in some clan war matches with them. I haven't played in a month and a half. Should I just move on or what?

I suggest you, keep the same video card, intel MB, and intel I5 750 processor, 4 GB RAM, then you will have a great PC for any game. Regards.
  • ew, AMD. That video card is just okay, too.

Anyways, I have an uber pro setup (can play starcraft 2 on full settings with 80 FPS), and I still play Cross Fire. When I try switching to a different FPS the gameplay just doesn't feel right.

    Try starcraft 2 though

Yeah I left out power supply but I was just listing the main parts. I have a laptop so this will be the first case I'm buying.

I don't like RTS's and what's wrong with AMD? :( Intel is too expensive.

Eww AMD? If your only gonna play games on your PC then you don't need Intel CPU. You'll get 4-5 fps more and you'll pay almost twice as much. Only difference between AMD and Intel CPU kicks in when working in some rendering programs (then it goes almost 40% faster) otherwise its a waste of money. PS Starcraft 2 isn't a good example if your going to brag about your PC being fast. Game is 1.5 year old and graphic wasn't i don't know what even then, just a bit of eye candy.

Once I built my new tower. I moved on to better games. Drop this game. Was garbage back then is garbage now. Game was never really heading in a good direction since day 1.

I could explain to you how AMD works and how it differs from Intel, but I think that would be wasting me time.

Also, starcraft 2 made tons of people buy new computers because it was that demanding, and even when people bought new computers they couldn't run it on full settings.

Even today starcraft 2 may be the most demanding PC game.

Quick question does SC2 support or take advantage of DX11 and Tesslation?
