I was first thinking you were suggesting implementing hypomeds into other modes besides ZM... but now reading, I agree we should be able to help others in ZM.
We can revive others, we should be able to heal them as well. For a 4 person match, team work is pretty essential to survival and winning. -

You have no idea how badly I'd want a feature like this. It's quite often I have unused hypomeds and my teammates lack them and I can't do anything to help them.
Plus it would lessen the fact people scramble for the blue drops every game just so they have some healz and work more as a team and stick together.
Plus, it'd allow me to play my favourite support role in games. MEDIC!!! -

not a bad idea all together, but if you're going to run around being a medic...you'd lose out on points so maybe they might be able to factor in some small exp/points for doing this....like i believe in both HM/MM you can click on a dead mutant for extra exp. Might even be able to have a ribbon for it too: PARAMEDIC- healed 500 or w/e # of teammates

Well in any game, I value teamwork and gameplay over points. In Biohazard, I'm the one closing doors, even if it means I lose out on points. Why? Because they need to be closed since most of my team isn't proficient in fending off the swarms in such tight quarters.
Besides, if team survival is a must in order to complete the waves and get those needed bonus points and defeat the boss, I think it contributes. Since your teammates are of no use to you dead and your likely to follow.
That's why a medic is so important, they are selfless and want to get the team through the obstacle. -

you and me both! look me up in game! great ideas guys, now if we had contact nades (ones that explode as soon as they touch something)

Another option to prevent tanking, is healing from other sources is half. Though just a though, doubt people would use more than they need to and mean less teamwork aspect with the lessened benefit. Though the cooldown between uses means it couldn't be too abused.
If hard mode comes, I think this is a notable feature needed. -
