and look at "where is my prize" and most other threads for that matter...xfire doesn't have a good track record with handing out prizes...so don't hold your breathe...im still going to post myself playing my time, still working on editing...just gets boring lol -

Should note here that this is not all XFire's fault.
For example, currently we are waiting on the players to reply to emails sent by xfire to them regarding this event.
The Bounce rate is quite high as people (for some reason) use fake information for this.
As we go through the list of players we work with xfire to verify that they didn't idle and then once we have a legitimate contender we'll notify them along with everyone else. If they don't respond within a certain time period they are DQ'ed and then we move on to the next player and repeat the process until we have all the winners set.
Then all the winners will be announced.
Here's a tip for everyone, when you play a video game, rarely is it necessary to make 55 accounts with emails you'll ultimately forget. And then when you sign up for a real contest where there is an opportunity to win a real prize, use real information. We can't psychically guess where to mail these prizes to! -

While this is entirely possible (and virtually impossible to determine). We are taking out time to make sure the numbers work out.
For example, if 2-3 people took turns on a computer we do have IP information that might lead us to believe the account was shared.
If they were in the same household well then at least they were playing the game and not idling in channels (which we are really make sure we get people who didn't idle).
In the end, we'll dq who we have to to get to our list of winners.
Don't forget though the 100 third place prizes are random draws! So everyone has the same chance to win those. -
I was registered with an (unverified) email address by Gmail that has since then been deleted by Google.
Just now I changed it to a valid one and verified it.
Will XFire attempt to contact me again or do they simply move on to the next one?

hey i just want to say that, no matter how long we have to wait, and a lot of ppl told me that i should be banned LOL cuz i've played a lot of time, and they think that i was idling or someone was playing for me but, no, i did this by myself taking some risk, and the risk was my life. . . ppl do you know that, if you dont sleep for long periods of time u could become crazy? well i have luck i just suffer some things, like now i sleep from 10 pm to 8 am, i am awake 4 hours and then i need to sleep again, from 11-12 am till 4-5pm, i feel tired the most of the time, and some ppl say that i idle in game LOL i didnt suffer any brain dmge or psychologic, but sometimes i feel sooo tired, but now im feeling better, and ty CF and Xfire staff for this event, GL to all the ppl .. .still waiting

lol insomnia, is not uncommon with gamers even if they play few times a day it just depends whether their sleep cycle is interrupted to a point where you cant sleep because of the game, look at WoW players for example.... anyways, your feeling more and more tired because you have a terrible sleeping pattern.. you wont get brain damage or anything like that unless your playing 16 hours straight every day every year, so yeah one week is about as bad as drinking to much alcohol on a Friday night = the equivalent of playing for like 1 or 2 weeks of non stop computing lol -

i know that, but stay up all night for 2 weeks was not much for me, cuz is not the first time that i do it, once in xmas days i was playing a very similar event like this, 1 year ago
but the more you do something like this u feel worse, and tired but i just feel tired, but i think that i had enough no more events like this =P
