Game keeps crashing due to X-TRAP.

Try using Gamebooster prior to starting the game. It closes out unneccesary programs freeing up memory. This solution can probably help with Xtrap to not notice anymore of the corrupted OS.
Also, you might want to check your hard drive itself for corruption. Maybe it is that time of the year to flush the whole computer and begin fresh again.
There are a number of ways to go by resetting computers to their factory setting. Look at the manufacturer's website to get more help on that issue. -

I don't believe my HD has any corruption. And the last time I've reformatted was last year. I keep my computer up to date and clean(virus scans/defragment/cc cleanup weekly). And I will try Gamebooster.
