File changed error

How do I fix the famous "File Changed Error"? I've reinstalled the game several times removing everything related to this game and still gives me the same error and I've followed what the Sticky Post said but it won't work. Is it trying to tell me it's down?

Did you ever get the problem fixed? I haven't found a solution yet, I've tried the same thing that you have. Any news?

Nope, still can't get it fixed. This is turning out to be as annoying as the little brats on Minecraft 24/7 -_-.

Is there a little more than "File Changed"? Like the name of the file? Or a screenshot would help. Or more information on what you were doing prior to receiving the error.

File is changed : W[2007] L[0]

All the files are there. If it isn't listed individually, then you will have to download the 4 packs of files do what MOD Talonblaze says:

If in the event this still doesn't work, look for outside issues that may be preventing Crossfire from working properly as there should be no reason this particular one failed.

I rebooted my computer before trying this and it actually worked. It might be a temporary fix though so keep up to date on this post.
