Update problem!! Please help me!

Anybody can help me giving a solution? I had downloaded CF halloween update but in main window (when you press Start Button) appears a message "Checking Patch Files..." and this application blocks all my net traffic (if you run any internet navigator doesn't works). I was thinking this will be a patch problem but I uninstalled it for download a new installer again but the problem persists. There's a pic of my problem.

Processor:Intel Core i7
S.O. Windows Xp x86
Ram: 8gb
Graphics: Nvidia 9800 GT

The Mods only help regulate the forum, they are not a support team.

That being said, it is also true of the rest of the forum. You can come here to find a quick simple solution to the problem, BUT at the risk that it might not work.

That is why most of the time people post to see Support Here.

Now regarding YOUR problem, all I can say is to wait for the patcher to complete the patch. If possible, re-download and re-install CF.

Download the most current version at the Download page
The current version should be at 1077, you will see that when looking at the version text file in the Z8Games folder in Program Files.
