About ghost mode

1. Bhopping is considered a skill. If you can't figure it out yourself, find someone in game who is willing to teach you. Or go on youtube.

2.Headphones can help you hear where the ghost is coming from. You cannot pinpoint with speakers... Well you can kind of but you need surround sound and very high volume... You don't want too much bass, some cheaper headphones work better than expensive ones... Try experimenting... If you have the right headphone you should be able to tell exactly where the ghost is camping or which direction it is.

3. There are competitive ghost mode clans. (specifically for gm)

4. Practice and experience. Play with good gm players and learn from them. Do not. I repeat do not hack, unless you just want to annoy other players at the expense of getting better. In my mind, if you hack, you will not improve and it will ruin your overall experience. Think of it as smoking, once you stop it will be hard to stop. To those players that use hack for whatever reason, it is a waste of time. I think people that hack have no lives and no skill. Do you want to be a high ranking player with no skills? If the answer is no, then don't hack.

1. Started as a glitch but is now supported by G4box as a feature.

2. The max distance you can hear ghost breath is 24M, 14 M if they have Breath down.

3. Most of the competitive left when the kick abusing got really bad, still a few left.

4. BL: Practice B hopping, learn where not to hide, don't run around unless your sure no one is near.
GR: Stay out of big flat areas, keep your back close to a wall to avoid being ambushed from behind, Learn to pinpoint.

its classed as skill for me, if you dont bhop then you die so it has to be done.

Im pretty sure there is a cut off limit for the distance anyone can hear a ghosts breath BUT the better your headphones (that does not suggest the most expensive) can hear ghosts from farther away, it also depends on your sound card.

No Sadly... GM doesnt have any official tournaments which is quite sad as it is a great mode and in my opinion takes more intelligence and skill to master.

4. Finally is there any tips you guys could give me for both sides to become a better ghost mode player?
Just practice practice practice :P If you see a good GMer ask what headphones they use and what controls they use. Its suprising how much easier it is bhopping when you have differnt controls. (i have a custom setting myself) also if you pllay BL alot i would definately suggest getting bdown (doesnt matter for steps down as you dont hear steps if ur bhopping) as it is far too easy for GR to kill you without it :P I should know im a GR player

talon are you a gm player?

You should definately aim to get a silenced gun as soon as possible - be it by buying zp and hoping to get lucky on crates, coupons or simply getting 20 ribbons for the free m4 custom crystal which is a pretty good gun for GM.

any Type of gun will do, and if you want to improve your B-Hop join a room with decent pin pointers without breath down that way you'll be relying on your skills>over breath down.

Only the smart ones are hard.
Most run in a strait line, sometimes from up to 30M away.
If they get close I switch to pistol, Deagle is a 2 hit kill in close range and can fire 4 shots a second.

It depends, Brs will usually rush in a straight line, unlike other bhopers will zig zag it till they get u =p

there are now plenty of players and clans are now veteran in ghost mode here in philippines.. although it's a sad news to all of us pro.. that our country is leading for visiting cheat downloader.. but we strive hard and we continue pionerring and teach young players how to play in ghost mode...a while ago i just reply to the post and share you some techniques on how to become a good b-hopper.. and now i'l be kind to give you the effective tips in Global risk in GM..

* use stereo headphones or a4tech. plug it on your speaker and then to the cpu.. this tips might be gonna ear banging in your eardrum...

*realteak audio sounds or equalizer in your pc... maximize your sound effect..this will lead you how to locate ghost breath in a seconds..
again a little reminders to all players.. please don't play rush.. keep on the focus and playsafe... this will lead you to survive in each round..
