Need a new Motherboard
I feel like it's time to upgrade to DDR3, so I need some suggestions on a nice budget motherboard.
Requirements:
Budget- Under $100
ATX/MicroATX
Socket AM3/AM3+
DDR3 1600MHz
2-DIMM or 4-DIMM
At least 1 PCI-E (2.0) x16 slot
*I'm probably forgetting some stuff but I'll add it if I remember*
Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance ^-^

I've never used ASRock before. Are they new?Kedaamikeda wrote: »
And this seems to have add-ons and size caps that could be taken out to reduce price.
I don't need more than one PCI E x16 slots. I also don't need coaxial or optical ports, PCI-E x1 slots, 32GB 2100MHz RAM cap, more than 4 SATA ports, or a nice chipset. It's all unnecessary.
Thank's for the suggestion, though.

Nope they aren't new. They make some great mobos.
There are only 4 AM3/AM3+ mobos in Newegg right now. You will have more choices if you go with just AM3+ or AM3. And pretty much all ATX boards come with those "unnecessary" parts. But going with ATX gives you more upgradability in the future. If you want minimal features to save money, go with one of the following boards
AM3+ (micro-ATX)

AM3 (ATX)

Hes looking for 1600 and 16gb support.
Both are unsuitable -
The AM3/AM3+ specification was a bit confusing I guess. I meant AM3+ boards would work because of Phenom's compatibility with both.Kedaamikeda wrote: »Nope they aren't new. They make some great mobos.

Thank's, though. I'm going to take a look at these. -
I might get this one, but I'm still open for suggestion. :O
You will be better off going with Cookz's suggestion of the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 board. That's an AM3+ board, so you can upgrade to the FX processors in the future if you wanted to.
