Radio messages of others throwing grenades... SHHHH!
I like GM a lot, and I usually run pubs since due to college and work I have a funky schedule. I find it extremely annoying to hear my team telling me over the radio that they are throwing smoke/flash/nades. I simply don't care and I want to not hear it, and focus on the important sounds... is there any way to do this currently?
If not I need to hit up the suggestions forum. I already have to deal with their gunfire... I dont need to hear their voices from all over the map too.

Turn off radio messages under settings. For the 'Fire in the hole!' crap, go into the CF files and delete the sound files. The location is something like what I typed below. In case you ever want the sound files again, make copies.

I'll look for that, but are you sure that wont effect the game in any detrimental way?UtdNationsTm wrote: »did u tryed to put "off" on radio message under sounds tag (on options)?
Yes, even with Radio Messages Off you still hear people saying "Fire in the hole!" or "Flash grenade!" or "Smoking bomb!" and with 8 people on your team with 3 nades each throwing them at random intervals during a GM it can get really annoying. -

It wont cause any problems with the game or get me in any trouble with my account right? Some companies don't like you touching their game files even if they are on your computer.
Correct.
I suggest leaving "A site", "B site" and "bomb found" though. -
A mod already stated that deleting the .mp3 files is allowed.DeadLikeMe wrote: »Removing those sound files sounds great to me.

@Chmipz
I keep the "bomb has been planted" sound but deleted the "I found it in X" sound cause you don't need both

Ive allready solved that - change the sounds of radio message of bomb and grenades - they are shorter, and got less volume and are cleared of unnecessary noise . So sound playing is not affected.
