Black background

Whenever I try to play when I get in the game my screen is black and all I can see is my cross-hair and the health and chat. I have played on this computer before and I don't know why it is doing this. Thank you for your help.

Does it take a long time loading with a black screen?

No, it didn't but I fixed it. I had to update my graphics driver I forgot I didn't do that when i system restored. But thank you for your help.
