me pay attention? says the one who rushes stupidly into a crowd of enemies for a single kill? it seems like someone isnt a smart player cause i know half of the good players wouldnt rush stupidly into a crowd of 3+ players for a kill that u barely injured even the flash and frag dont work in this game to think you can just kill a group of people with a frag and a gun is just plain arrogant and ****y and for u to instantly think im a little kid is just plain ignorant....think with ur brain not with ur gun okay -
I "sound abuse" pretty badly. I did not bring my stereo to university, so I just have headphones. Hard to NOT sound abuse when using headphones. I camp around corners and time when to pop out and blast away. I selectively fire at people then run away to find a new spot to wait in. Ambushes are fun and good for killing. I walk to get a few more kills.Am I a try-hard? I do not think so.... I do not have an ego when I play. When I get an ultra-kill for example it is more of "AWWW YEEEE, luck is with me today!" than "HOO-BOY, YA'LL GOT PWNT by mah uber-skeels!"
I just think that if you play a game you like, why not do things that give you an advantage? If 3 enemies are coming, I will camp, wait for them to either pass by me, or pop out, take out one or tag one, then flee and keep bug-biting them until death. Of course I do rush occasionally when my luck is running high and headshots are coming my way.
Honestly, you cannot just turn off reflexes and skill/luck (choose one. Skill or luck? =p). So really no such thing as a try-hard. You'd be trying "hard" even if playing with the m9. Its all about how serious you are about it. If anybody here has EVER played with me, you will know I do not take anything seriously. Heck, even when people insult me after game and try to 1v1 me, I troll them so hard and just keep playing my pub. Why would I 1v1 you? That is no fun. >_> -

Wow. Okay, there are a number of issues that I would like to raise with this point;
-No life Asians do not play 18+ hours per day. That is frankly impossible for any asians that move to NA or UK. We have homework, you dumb ****.
-Just because someone cannot converse ideas properly, doesn't mean you can totally ignore their point. I could easily call many native born americans/english players ******ed, since no one really gives a f*** about grammar and spelling.
-I am Asian, and to be honest, if you're here on forums bashing asians, I might actually have more "life" than you.
-"Go learn better English". ... it's not Go learn, it's "Go and Learn" or "Go home and learn" or even just, " Learn better...". "Go Learn" is typically slang, in which may I suggest you; "go back to school and learn better english there."

I don't get the point. My point of fun is messing many faces, especially with my AWM. Granted, I do not crouch and camp, since that's boring, but I get called try hard when I use common sense, like pin pointing and sound abuse.
I can't really help myself, it's not like I can stop doing this, it's more I'm doing this for so long, that I may as well be doing them already.
That being said, when I do "try" I use all my epic guns, and Maybe m12s. But I feel slightly guilty when a match finishes after using the m12s. -
Theirs no point on playing a game if your not gonna try. Never fun to not put some effort into your game play. "Tryhard"is just excuse when they die. You can always say QQ to them. I still don't know why people use QQ on this game thought its a Warcraft term QQ = When your telling someone to alt+QQ to leave out the game and stop crying. alt+QQ makes you exit out of a Warcraft game. Just hate when people use QQ in other games knowing nothing about it or where that term came from.

Sometimes tryhard for some people is casual play for others. -
i hate when ppl call other players "try hards"...
just let other people play as they want and leave them alone. if they want 2 camp, then let them camp. if they want to try their best, then let them. if they want to shift walk, let them. just let them play as they want and you play as you want. ;0
To be honest, the only time i see this happening is when someone has died in SND and is tired of waiting for everyone else to die, so that person calls them a "try hard" to rush them into dieing so that person can play again. All in all, stop being impatient and let them play until it is your turn again. -

-when you say your not try harding and your feining for kills (you can see by the way they play)
-dodging bullets when there clearly nothing there.
-sound whorring to the max (standing still behind doors till someone comes unless its gm)
-pinpointing in gm cause u basicly have to be a nolifer to perfect that
-being arrogant to the max
-literally chasing down someone u shot but didnt kill for the kill, especially when he run though ur teammates to get you without shooting one of them
-preshooting every ****ing corner and hall way in the map (1 or 2 corners is fine but when u do it every corner and hallway u go is stupid and a waist of bullets)
-preshooting with a sniper constantly praying for someone to walk into ur bullet
-saying you will carry when you clearly are not
- tryharding in non clanwar games
- when you call everyone on ur team noobs if your team is winning and they lose one round in a s&d, elim, gm
-camping in spawn for kills
-writing this responce XD
this is all i could see what a try hard is, to me theres a difference between a good player and a tryhard lol

well competitive players can't stand tryharders in pubs , no competitive players tryhard in pubs , Pubs are meant to play for fun not try and get the most kills and be ace and be alll over it

I found it very arrogant, kinda socialistic.
Everyone is individuality, and as an individual he got individual goals.
Individual attitude, individual skills, individual sense of humour. And whats most important here everyone sees fun in something else.
Speaking now for myself i cant imagine how do u CANT try your best.
How do you trysoft ? Do you miss enemy heads on purpose ? Do you fail bhop to make sound infront of the camper spot ? How do you not try ? Whats the purpose then ? Is the purpose of that to say to others "look at me, im so good and i play competitive matches, so you all suck to me" Why the hell do you even bother playing then ? You DO have so much free time ?
YOu can play with uzi, colt, m700. gatling gun, you can knife in regular SnD, but you allways try, to master those guns, right ? cause without it you are just a spraying idiot.
To some people the game means the tactics too, and without the tactics, game feels boring. When you manage to kill the enemy mainly due to your thinking abillites, isnt this a part of the game too ? Funny part ?

Well I guess we have different meanings for fun. Personally, I like playing the game when i'm on CF. Being dead on the floor watching other people play the game is not fun. The fun is in the playing, dying is just boring imo.
There is no reason why you can't have fun while still killing everybody.
