BL in Ghost Mode had guns?

One guy kept telling our whole room that Black List used to have guns in Ghost Mode. Honestly I didn't fall for it but a shizload of other guys did... Sounds like a lie to me. He says it was when Cross Fire first came out but after open/closed beta.

That was before x-trap. When gameguard was the anti-hack protection. Hackers had a field day back then.

I didn't play at that time (just over a year for me), but enough people have stated this happened who would have no reason to be joking that I believe it to be true. I believe if you look through the threads about how they need to go back to the golden age of Game Guard you should see the mentions of this there.

Yes, it is true. Back in the day when CF used GameGuard (FailGuard) for their anit-cheat system, the hackers use to run around as ghosts with guns, but they were never meant to. Ghosts with guns was never a legit thing, and probably never will be.

Yea, the guy was right.... A ghost shooting you through a wall with a full-auto AWM was something you found in half the GM rooms.

During Suba/Gameguard. I can't give you an exact date (imageshack apparently doesn't store dates of uploads) though, but I looked at pictures before and after this one. So it happened somewhere between 16 May 2009 and 28 July 2009.
