I have to agree with everyone's idea on the hacking situation going on atm.
In game, all I try to do is run past an obvious aimbot, and go for the legit players becuase they're the ones playing fairly and respectively.
I don't plan on quitting CF anytime soon. I know Z8 is doing all they can to decrease the amount of hacking going on (or so it seems).
For I've spent way too much money on this game to let it all shrivel to dust. I don't regret it, because in my opinion, this is a great game to play, all hacks aside. -
Its a f2p, you guys have too high expectations for CF. It is one of the best f2p shooters but like I said its f2p need I say more.
No it USED to be one of the best f2p shooters. Now and I think part of the reason most the NA players are leaving in droves you have TF2 (truly free and basically no hacking), AVA free and far better in the gameplay, graphics and a far cleaner game, and you have global agenda which is a great little shooter/mmo game that has very few cheaters.
Z8 PANDERS to the south american crowd, good for them they can suck it I have almost every zp gun in game and the game isn't even installed anymore, I'd rather play one of the games I mentioned that have lower pings overall for players and next to no cheaters.
The mods here hide behind the "its f2p what do you expect? crap). Z8 is getting exactly what they deserve they spit on the NA crowd and basically thru actions have shown we don't matter so I uninstalled just like all my friends, this game is garbage now and will never be anything but as long as the south americans are still allowed in the NA servers. -
I'm close to quiting for a while. The hackers are absolutely destroying my kill/death ratio and are sending my desertion through the roof. I'd rather save my stats. Not to mention its impossible to find a single zombie in zombie mode now that they die as soon as they show up from the one-shot wallers. This is a great game and I'd prefer to not have to leave, but I will do it because it is becoming stressful(which is very bad for my health) and unplayable. I hope Z8Games gets off there butts and actually do something about this, cause if they are doing anything they are taking forever. These hacks have been around for over a month now and they seem to triple in number everyday.

Crossfire is unplayable. I will not spend money on zp any longer which sucks for z8 but this is the way they want it. I played so much that in 3 months I was only able to gain 120K exp. with green beret lol. All because of the Br problem and z8 kissing their rears like they are z8's God. Z8 turned their back on the gaming community and turned and faced the BRs. Have fun with your BR game. They have made crossfire unplayable. Combat arms is not nearly as bad as crossfire is now. Yeah im spending my money faithfully there now. Z8 dont care anyhow...

I am thinking that once they get the SA location, they will move all the servers there because you can pay for service on anything for .14$ a day. South mexicans... No wonder they are all poor as heck, look at how they conduct life. Lieing, cheating, stealing, etc... No room for prosperity there.

Z8 is a big fail right now and all due to the fact on how they react to this dillema. They put the blame and solution on Xtrap..HELLO z8 this is your game and YOU have the control not Xtrap. Man up pull up your belt and take the licks and do something about it. So irresponsible and a real shame to.

It's still is one of the best f2p shooters. TF2 is a cool game for occasional play, but overall I find it kidish. And AVA looks good I agree there, but the mechanics of the game feel like ****. Being a CS player CF mechanics are similar so I prefer CF to AVA. Only things wrong with CF are the lack of new content which doesnt bother me too much and of course the hacks. -

Well cs is one of the founding fathers of fps games so thats no question. As for CFs games engine, yes its not the greatest but neither is it one of the weakest - stop making false claims you can't back. As for ava's recoil being more realistic, are you a troll or just stupid? Clearly you know nothing about guns AVA has cod recoil = non-existant. Anyway theres no such thing as realistic recoil in fps games it depends on the skill of the shooter and how well they can control it. -

Crossfire has one of the strongest engines in terms of gameplay that I've seen in a free MMOFPS.
AVA, Soldier Front, Combat Arms, Warrock, Sudden Attack, you name it. They don't feel half as good as CrossFire does.
CrossFire still feels fun even when eclipsed by better games like CS and TF2 because it still has its own flair and multitude of modes and weapons.
Don't forget that CrossFire is designed in terms of Counter Strike 1.6.
Good gameplay and playable on Legacy computers. -
Mashtown do us all a favor and go buy some more zp so the BRs can keep running Z8. And no if you play other games you will notice they are lacking. lol wow sheltered kids.

I find that hackers mostly come from foreign countries. Basically, I feel this is a consequence of producing & hosting international MMO games. It attracts ugly things, like foreign animosity, jealousy or hate. Attracting new national audiences will inevitably bring the trash along with it!
I simply hosted my own rooms & ENFORCED the rules in them. I kicked anyone who cheated & if there are any f12 ingame, I threw them out at lobby. This helps me a lot more, as opposed to joining any random room that's glitched up-the-ass! -
NO, Z8 would never do that to their BR's.
They will still be allowed to access all servers and will continue doing what they are good at ie lagging, kicking, QQ'ing and hacking (in that order).
The more intelligent ones will use the server but they most probably are not the sort to QQ/kick/hack in the first place.

well the you know "who" hacked CF once and their demands were as follows: you let us hack or else(long dramatic pause) we will hack you again and again until you can no longer keep this site up!!!
but on a real note how old is the oldest forum mod?...10 maybe 13 tops...kids...and if that's the forum mods...think of the how old the CEO is...nope never mind, as i'm using wifi from Mc Donalds i think i found him...only kid on the play place with a suit from baby-gap...yep hes laggin through the tunnels and teleporting down the slide!! -

same.. i dont play often anymore and i use to play everyday now im just looking at other online shooters but nothing really like cf..
i will just take a break and hope they do the NA pingthing to keep the damn brs and others that dont speak freaking english out. -
Come to UK4, theres much less hackers then at NA servers... / those are really unplayable.
I would like to see any NA players on UK - they are mostly friendly.
I remember when there was no Uk servers, how i chatted whole matches with cool NA people.
And srsly we need some means of self-defense like :
Unlimited votekicks for host of the room. Counting as 1 to 5 (by number of players in a room) +3 votekick armor..
You may say this would help a hack-host, but you can allways choose which host do u wanna play with. And then you will be 100% sure that if you are familliar with your host, the game will be hack free.
This would be 1000 times better then it is now.
Then add the adjustable ping range on rooms or fixed for channels.
So you may chose who do you wanna play with it.
