Why don't people kick? (Not a rant)

I mean, really though. What do they gain? All it is is your protected from deaths but since all your kills are stolen it's practically just waisting your time. All you gain is a win, but then again who really cares about those?
Apparently, people who don't kick hackers care about winning. They're too lazy to try on their own so they sit back and let the hackers do the work. -
Comes from back in December when High ping players started playing.
Thanks to their High ping and not knowing how ping works they were at a massive disadvantage and lost repetitively. Because they always lost to low pings, they started claiming all low pings hack. Thanks to the language barrier, many high pings have no way of knowing what is causing them to lose and once they hear from other high ping players that low pings hack they started uniting against the low ping "hackers", kicking them out of any games, hacking themselves to get revenge, and refusing to kick high ping hackers because nearly all of them think low pings hack.
In short, Because they think all low pings hack they refuse to kick high ping hackers so they can get even. If they just spend 5-15 minutes doing research about the game they learn its their ping that is causing them lose. -

Sad story is sad. -
This is only partly true.StealthRush wrote: »Apparently, people who don't kick hackers care about winning. They're too lazy to try on their own so they sit back and let the hackers do the work.
I admit, I do not always kick hackers. Especially if the opposing team has one or more. Another reason I don´t kick hackers that often is, that I often get kicked myself straight afterward.
People will of course want to get their daily missions done as quickly as possible. (I would be lying if I said that isn´t the case)
There are lazy players, and then there are players that don´t want the hassle of kicking them and then getting kicked in return. Regardless of wether or not the kick vote went through.
I still believe that the best solution would be for the developers to come to terms with the fact that their "anti-cheat" isn´t working and use a different one. Preferably one that is highly efficient. I don´t care if that makes the game cost a couple of Euros a month to play it.
Comments and constructive critiscism are welcome (notice the word CONSTRUCTIVE).

Unless they can find a Anti-cheat that can dedicate itself to patching the hacks it won't be effective for long.
The major hack makers make their income from making and selling the hacks that so many want. So they'll be focused on making hacks all the time, replacing the Anti-cheat will only buy us a month or two at best of no hacks in till the hack makers bypass it.
Anti-cheat companies usually have many games the need to work on so they can't always be as focused on this game like the hack makers will be.
Best way to stop or reduce the hack makers would be to remove their customer base. -

I do that as well.
If they have someone shooting me through the walls in Egypt TDM and nobody tries to kick, then I wouldn't kick any of ours even if we have 5 of them. And when they keep them for 50 kills and then kick I do exactly the same.
And as for not kicking hackers to stop myself being kicked - There are some games where the whole team is crying about everyone and everything, it's better to let the hacker annoy them since they will concentrate their powers of QQ on him, -

Sad, but true.
Doing this is also next to impossible.
As these well known websites (they do not need to be cited here) are mostly based in countries outside of Canada, getting the webmaster (or whatever the person running the website is called) to shut the site down is next to impossible without taking legal action. Which in turn would produce more costs, and the next week there is a "new" website supplying the same hacks.
Oh internet.. what have you become.. -

month or two? ha ha last time they did one they very next day they had new hacks. The community is killing this game. Soon it is just going to be a bunch of hackers and that's it and the game is going to fail. I think z8 should probably hire some full time anti hack people. -

They will improve eventually and solve the major issues in this game when they realize that they are real, but you are right the game might be dead by then. -
for all another excuse...
fact is.
-it's not possible 4 cf to fix this problem.
-zombie mode coming up - full of hackers (one-shot-killers) funny is not possible to save the replay - each lowranker is running around with kriss or another creates.
-everyone congrats cf 4 ip restriction - what the reality ? everyone know's.
z8games - cf - neogames bla bla bla = just business on our costs and nerves.
buy a retailgame and be sure each cheater will be busted and have to buy a new game. zero tolarance is the best way against cheater. -

Attacking the websites is ineffective.
The solution I have in mind is to remove the customers reason to want the hacks.
Ping cap the servers.
High ping hackers far outnumber Low ping hackers for a few reasons.
High ping is harder the Low ping.
With high ping one is at a massive disadvantage against low pings.
Low pings are easily able to beat high pings most of the time.
So in High pings are more likely to hack to win then low pings.
High ping is less fun then low ping.
With high pings nearly always losing to low pings it can't be that fun for them.
So why do they keep playing or resort to hacking? Simple, they have less options in online games. When a low ping isn't having fun they have dozens of other games they can go to.
High pings have very few games where there even able to play, so they would resort to hacking for fun more then low pings who are more likely to go to a different game for fun.
Having high ping and not knowing what ping does.
Having a high ping and not knowing what it does can cause lots of confusion.
Many High ping players swear EVERYONE is hacking, but its their ping that is making it look like that. Because they now think everyone else is hacking their more likely to resort to hacking as well. Low pings thanks to having low ping actually see what really happens in the game, and thus don't see everyone hacking.
High ping players have a harder time to win, have less fun, and most likely have less options then low pings. So they are going to have far more hackers then low pings.
If we remove the biggest cause of hacking, the hacking rate will go down, and the hack makers will lose their customer base. With less customers they'll start looking elsewhere to make a income, leading to less hacks and gives X trap time to patch and keep the game patched.
Bonuses of this method is that it would also remove the high number of kick abusers and hack accusers in the game. Lower the amount of hack reports so support can get through them in a timely manner.

Wow, you don't kick hackers. Good to know. (******).
As for getting a better anti-hack program, THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
X-trap is the BEST at what it does. It is the ONLY anti-hack program that has an auto-detection system.
Getting a new anti-hack program will stop the hacks for awhile because the hackers will need to figure out a way to bypass it, however when they do, it will be worse than now (because there won't be any auto-detection).
The trouble comes in the game's coding. Because of the way the game was programmed, it is extremely easy to hack.
X-trap is next to useless, and so is any other anti-hack program that's compatible with this game. stop asking for a new anti-hack program, it's not going to help at all -

My biggest problem is that they other end of people getting caught hacking is fairly loose. I know people who have gotten there accounts banned then just talked to their good friend the gm and got it back. The anti hack does not need to be new just constant updates -

I agree with not kicking if they don't. What I do is, most of the time I let them stay for a bit and if people start actually caring, (QQ) then I'll kick.
But the second they start QQing when they have hackers on their team. I WILL NOT. It's a pretty simple concept. I'm not going to be nice to you when your going to be rude donkeys.
Yet, people still don't seem to grasp the concept. I'll record a video and maybe upload it if someone knows a good free recorder (Fraps when I decide to later,)
Ofcourse that'll be without accusing, I don't want an infraction
It's just so annoying. Do they really think I'm that stupid? I'm not going to personally give you a ticket to winning. -

so nobody kicks the hackers on their team because there's another hacker on the other team.
good job, you just contributed to the problem. -
I ALWAYS kick hackers as soon as I know they are there... even if it costs me the win.
I hate it when I am getting killed by a hacker so I treat others the way I want to be treated, and kick any hackers on my team. Sometimes I not reading chat so I don't always catch it right away, but anyone on my team hacking will get a kick attempt from me as soon as I know.
I also thank people on the other team kicking their hackers.
I never kick people that aren't hacking and you can usually tell whats a hack and whats legit if you've been around a while.
Edit: I also don't kick people for being nub, we all gotta learn sometime and I don't mind new players. -
Hacks
Why dont they start banning IP adresses of people that hack. The hackers know that if they are reported, who cares. They are just going to start up a new account and do it all over again. No sweat off their back. People pay good money to buy ZP points to keep this game going. Trust me, they make plenty of money off this game. To let people keep playing that hack is beyond me. Is there nothing that can be done to stop the hacking at all? If thats the case, I'll create a new account and do my own hacking. -

They do IP ban.
Thing is that getting around a IP ban is so ridiculously easy that it doesn't matter.
There are a number of free programs all over the net just to do that, hell I could make a program to get around a IP ban in 30 minutes.
Ping entrance caps on the other hand have no way to by pass with out hacking strait into the servers themselves. -
GodsGunman wrote: »so nobody kicks the hackers on their team because there's another hacker on the other team.

I'm not just refusing to.
I clearly tell them why, saying if you guys kick, I will too. They don't want to I don't.
So then they can deal with it. If they want to believe I'm a lier, so be it. I'm not some idiot that rages at getting killed, I play for fun. -
DeadLikeMe wrote: »I also don't kick people for being nub, we all gotta learn sometime and I don't mind new players.
Yeah, thats just flat out rude. You were there once. Heck, I could probably kick you for not headshotting everyone. Nobodies perfect, so while he's here you might aswell let him enjoy it and I don't know, even HELP HIM OUT? -
The easiest thing they could do is to make the account registration better. I mean you can just make a random e-mail address and not even have to confirm it to start playing. Other than that as someone said too much of the game info is not server sided(as in it's mostly on your computer) which contributes to the game being easily hacked
So 3 things to help cut back on hackers would be....
1. Ping restricted servers, many with different lvls of restriction, having different ranges on different servers. I.E. having one that's 100, 200 and one or two that's not restricted.
2. Making account registration actually work with the person verifying the e-mail address.
3. Make more of the games info server sided so that's it's harder to hack the files and/or bypass the safe guards/anti-cheat.
