Yooo!
So in about a month, i got my formal or aka prom for you non-australians. My date's dress is gold (FML TO THE MAX) and im wondering what kinda of shirt and tie i should wear? Im going in a black suit.
soo....black suit with;
-white shirt
-black shirt
-gold tie
-black tie
Which is the best combo do you guys reckon??? and should i have any accessories??

The cheapest option is probably to get a gold handkerchief, you really just need some sort of colour on you to make it look like it was planned. If your really wanted to match, it would be black tux, gold vest. -
You don't wear black shirt with black jacket unless you're Johnny Cash or going to a funeral.
Black suit, white shirt, black tie for the sake of formality (I normally wouldn't promote a black tie), something small to match her if you want to stand out a bit.
Gold/dark yellow handkerchief like Hpx suggested, a gold watch if you know someone who owns one willing to lend it.
Some cheap gold bling-sunglasses in the pocket if you can't find any of the above.
Gold underwear if you're looking to score, for giggles. -
