Unearth Glitch
That unearth glitch in ZM, where you get inside of the ramp of sit on the on rails before going inside it... is that allowed? is it classified as glitching (curious because you can just... jump in there) and is it ban worthy?
I'm curious because I don't want to use it if it's classified as glitching and/or can get me banned.

TBH the game defines glitching as using a bug in the gameplay to gain an unfair advantage...
The thing with cage is that there is no unfair advantage though. You gain "invulnerability" but you also run out of ammo eventually. So gaining the advantage also comes with a disadvantage that makes the advantage basically pointless. I think they will just wall it off and be done with it.
I don't see any reason to get banned for it. -

it's not a glitch but you're exploiting something that was unintended by the game developers (yes it was unintended, pretty sure Saidin said something about getting it fixed which means it was unintended) which could get you a temp ban if they see you doing it.
I played a game with Rory and someone was doing it, pretty sure he didn't care. -

Like DatMuffin, the "glitch" may block you off from *some* zombie attacks (you can still get hit) but once you're out of ammo, your just sitting there you have to get out, get more ammo and survive to get back into it.
Its not that helpful so ether it will be patched, or it will stay. ether way I have not seen anyone get banned cause of doing that. -

you can exploit glitches (mistakes/loopholes in coding) or you can exploit things that the devs overlooked

i made the thread about this so called 'glitch' and yet you didn't state who you were implying that to...I wasn't jumping to some sort of assumption. yeah... i wonder if this certain 'exploit' would be bannable tho, i'll wait for a mod's input, i guess.
i just didn't want to go ahead and use it whilst it could be bannable. then again you can't even save replays in zm and i'd doubt they'd accept screenshots or in-game video due to the fact of editing. -
It's not an intended feature of the mode, and we are working to have it fixed.
Glitching is always going to be met with some sort of judgment call by the person handling the case. For this particular one, it is highly unlikely you will ever receive a ban for this. It is possible that you could be suspended if the case was strong enough that it was impacting negatively on the game.
It's also more difficult to catch these kinds of abuses because of the nature of the mode. And less of a priority because of the fact that you run out of ammo, can be killed etc.
If you happen to be playing in a game with a MOD or a GM, my suggestion would be to NOT USE THE GLITCH. Because in those cases there is direct links to the people who can actually press the ban button, and it's probably not worth the risk. -

so while this 'glitch' is still around... there would be no harm in using it in a zm with your friends (locked room with clan mates or friends)? -
