Special shooting range

A special shooting range for melee weapons and grenades to test before a possible purchase and not spend Gp in something which you dont will use.

  • since when are melee weapons GP? (with exception of the worthless WCG packages) and with grenades, you're basically just paying for the explosion graphic and slightly higher damage... which again, not many if any are GP-based.

    OT: How about a room with a dummy, and you slash the MOTHER outta it. 10 points per arm and leg, 50 points for the head, 100 to make the dummy bleed (lulwut?)

    For grenades, have a small hole. Throw the nade in there. If it lands in the hole, you get 10 points. After 100 points, the game ends with the final grenade exploding the hole, showing the actual blast radius.

  • Since the shooting range use the same room used for Tutorial, why not take the 3 GR posters section for the melee and the small house for the grenades (and close the possible exits). But yeah, nades are pretty much useless to test.

    In my opinion, I would redo the whole Tutorial map and improve the shooting range. I would make it more complete: basic stuff (move, shoot, grenades, crouch, etc), how to plant/defuse, etc. Why not use idle AI. They will not move and just get shot etc. We can't say CF can't handle AI when we have Zombie Mode.

    I just wish we had the old Tutorial (Korean CF had it a WHILE back). I never tested it. Now it's just used as BG images like this one:

    i agree, +1, however, they should make the targets move so it can truely test the accuracy of the gun and maybe improve on the aiming of one player. in addition they should also show the damage being hit on a certain area; so less players will get confused between 1 shot and normal damage. i keep getting kicked in hakenkreuz GM because ghosts think i 1 shot with DD when they are suppose to 1 shot :P :(
