Iceman,

How do other games prevent hacks so well, then when it comes to crossfire almost every room has hackers. And the idea about how u guys make money from otter companies isn't very difficult to see considering just how hacks magically come out 20 minutes after a patch, cool bruh.

  • Because it is incredibly easy to fix a hack to make it work again you ignorant tool.

Do you understand ANYTHING about the way things work ? .. Do Z8 patch the hacks ? .. OR is that why they use Xtrap .. ?? .. whether Xtrap is the best company to use is a different argument but raging that Z8 are all to blame is just stupid .. This is ur 2nd thread spouting this rubbish pls no more ..........
  • Other games have a tighter coding. This is an 11 year old engine with an outdated and weak structure thats easy to hack and bypass.

XTrap can patch hacks and stop them working but the game is too easy to crack and more will simply be made. Games like AVA are more modern and harder to get around.. they do still get around it but its alot harder to code some hacks and some others are near impossible.

Crossfire is the biggest F2P FPS game out there. its no wonder people are flocking in.. and with people spreading rumours that people dont get banned, they feel they can get away with it... Its as much the communities fault as it is XTraps.
  • old game coding and engine ( i think around the time of Counter Strike)
    Free to Play
Standard AntiCheat (meaning its on multiple online games)
And a whole goddamn bunch of crackers finding loopholes in the anticheat client.
    (x) number of staff on Xtrap and (x) *exponent* of crackers world wide
    Worldwide online game
equals a headache of a cheating problem

I dont know if its true but i think if one person finds a loophole in the anti cheat (xtrap) on any game that uses it. The loophole can be used on other games.

Perhaps it would die off if Crossfire becomes "one time pay2play or Buy2Play"

    .

So why is such a big worldwide game not been brought more upto date to make it more difficult to hack ? ... is this simply down to the cost to do it ? ..

    Time... Money.. Labour.

I dont think you realise what it takes to rewrite the code of an entire game... if it was so easy, it would have been done by now.

Smartest thing you have said to date. I guess resigning from the mod position made you more intelligent.
