Trying to welcome new players?
You could call me a pubstar or w/e. Lately I've seen some post on barracks that have been about some of the wogl/e8 players wanting more competition, and having more people migrate from pub servers to the e8 channel...most of these posts sound inviting and encouraging.
So I've tried to play in some games, and I admit I'm not the best but I'm doing decent so far, but yet there are some folk in these games that are a bit immature and just complete *******s. I'm asking why in the hell are they acting so immature and just like little brats, the response is "this is ego 8 brah" or "you get put down for being a noob" "just go back to being a pubstar". (Actually laughed at the last one) But If you guys are having such a shortage on your players, then why don't you just show a little better attitude towards the new players that try to join in.
I guess I'm trying to have fun, but yet some of those people are just too damned serious about the game. If you have a **** community, then in the end you won't have a community at all.

That is the way this community acts. I've tried actually getting people to accept new players and pubstars to the competitive community. However as per usual the community acts like a bunch of pessimistic eleven year olds.

I have no problem with new players coming in to echo8 just as long as they know the rules...one thing I hate is when they come from their servers into echo8 using spops customs and xm8s ...I consider echo8 to be some sort of safe haven for us competitive players.
