i'd say slm and winterdy.
learning to hear breath and b hopping is something every one goes through. people can learn it on their own. making the first 2 successful clans is much more impressive.
Exactly, sorta like puberty, but in GM xD. It's one thing to know how to bhop/PP, but to master it and establish a successful clans is on a whole different level. Also I said Invisible because like the other clans mentioned, they influenced the way GM is played but less directly. Now thanks to them we have competition, egos, and trollers (no offence but egos gave root in invisible). -
Who are the REAL pioneers of GM? I don't know many and I'm more than likely wrong, but here's my list

His first IGN was GhosterF.Assassinshot, supdawg with old ign, GiveYouDeath and me obviously we're also there
btw soky wasn't bhoper on closed beta. Attack yes, sin yes, tula erm don't remember..
Soky was a bhopper in OB. I said close to the end of CB starting of OB. Tula did. I forgot to mention AssasinShot. I just remembered 3 IGN's right now. [Pollo], unkown 1214 (nasty ass bhopper) and chark5b. -

BTW: Why everyone gotta bring up Ching is that like the only guy you know? There are many out there that were cool in the ways of gm. For instance me and Whatisami were along with ghost mode pretty far back, I taught alot of nubs things. Anyways if someone wants to see where gm pioneers have gotten me feel free to pm _Blazemad_ -

Lol that's not the reason why it can't go competitive. GM filled with ego,hacks, and QQ. The only thing keeping S&D "competitive" is the fact that it's S&D which is pretty much competitive in every other game? Every mode in this game is filled with the same shiz. Ego, QQ, and hacks.Sup? Gm can never have a competitive future it's just a stupid mod to begin with , i Started trying to play GM competitively but U just can't . it's a pub game

I dont know any pioneers since I came on the scene late, but I give props to all the Westcoast server regular players who taught me how not to get killed like a noob as a ghost and pressured me to learn to bhop or die (xxhaixx, Valour, [G]uess?, [D]ark, the clan members from [H]ell, and the clan Colors, and a whole lot more individuals who I respect for their skill and make me wish I had better internet service).

No mode outside S&D will be competitive , tthat's just how it is m it's like cs 1.6 , it's so competitive for a long time peoople won't play other cs's competitive , tough if you pplayed css competitively you would know it's pretty much the same
FPS are SnD Competitives and i don't see that changing in a near future. -

Like THIS KID thinks. You know nothing of GM so stay off our threads k? When you play one game with a bunch of BRs in the rookie server, that doesn't provide a logical conclusion that GM isn't competetive. That's like going to an S&D game playing one round, and dying, then saying S&D sucks. If you don't like GM then why the hell are you posting on a GM thread? -
This^Well yeah, I was in Pan[TH]ers before anyone else listed in this thread except Ching and SLM, so "pioneers" feels a bit over the top.
Ching was a star back in the day though, taught a lot of people to do what he did, as such a pioneer in developing GM for this version.
Before Pan[TH]ers (and during), there were practically no competition except for Dark, but they didn't last very long - and then there were just us.
Good times.
I learnt alot from Ching back when Pan[TH]erS formed for the fisrt time ever.
