Hacked.
Ok. I am a previous CF player. I started about two years ago, quit, and just today came back to it. I have found out that my account has been hacked, sold, and then given to about 25 other players. I came onto my account to find that everything (besides my M4 Silver, Kriss, and Perm Combat Axe) was gone/sold. I had gotten a perm Deagle Scope, since I had been gone, which was kind of cool, but all of my other guns, about 15-20 had been sold. I'm not complaining because I want my guns back (however if Z8 would do that for me that would be fantastic), I just want them to be more aware of this problem. People are hacking, selling, and then sharing to multiple other people. I spent quite a bit of money on that account, but now it has been absolutely wrecked. Now I'm not saying it's impossible to do any fun on it, because I still do have some of my guns that I won from the lotto, I would just like to put a strong emphasis on this problem. I'm not emotionally scarred or anything, because I don't care too much about this game, it's just kind of irritating knowing I put good money into a game, to have it all wasted.

send in a ticket to the support team here. They will try to help you when they get to your ticket. Mind you, they probably will not be able to get to you for a few days, because the support staff don't work on weekends, and they won't be in tomorrow, since it's Canadian thanksgiving.
Also, you'll need to show some proof that the account is yours. (e.g. ZP transactions) -
No offence if my statement is false, but if people got to your account, how could they get ride of your lotto guns? the only way I know is to send in a ticket to get ride of them, and even a support MOD would think somethings up.?
Anyways, OT: Just send in a ticket with screen shots of your guns that are missing, im sure they can assist you. -

Accounts don't just get hacked out of whim, otherwise they would target far higher and more valuable accounts. Like GM's or MODs or just people with everything.
The only way accounts get 'hacked' is if you do any of the following;
-Go to a phishing site.
-Download illegitimate or fake software/programs.
-Give out your personal account information to another person.
There's probably more, but chances are the majority of those cases fall under one of those. Accounts don't just poof in mid air. -

Lotto? You mean the Black Market? Shows that you've played quite a bit on this game, and spend quite a lot of money..
Don't send out any information. I'm pretty sure that's what you did. -

agreed... support should stop doing account recoveries..

people's accounts can get hacked out of no where if they don't have virus protection.
all people need is an ip these days, and of course the victim has no av... or an open port, or they're silly enough to open and email, open a file... website... -

People are plain stupid for not having anti-virus protection on their computers. There are some free ones out there, most notibly AVG which is a decent one for FREE. Plus as talonblaze stated the only ways to get your account hacked are to DL a keylogger or give out your account info.
So with that being said, anyone stupid enough to do either of those two things and gets their account hacked doesn't deserve it back because we already have enough stupid people playing this game that we don't need anymore coming back. -

Oh I saw your account around other obvious sites, how cool.. did you like the hack? or it wasn't fun after all?? -

It's entirely possible that it's not someone's fault their account got hacked. However, I did have 1 friend that did use it, and he may have been the one to give it away. Doubt it though because if he did I would have known.forever119 wrote: »agreed... support should stop doing account recoveries..

I think somebody hacked [Mod]dots account. I saw a thread where he was calling older players geezers and saying they made a bad decision in life to be here.
No mod with any common sense or a brain would insult this community like that!
