If you're one, im just asking about what's the best cheap splash cymbal.

I think, it's between sabian b8 10'' and zildjian zht 10''.

Share your opinion.

What style of music? I have a ZHT Splash/China that sounds great for metal/rock.

If you are doing faster paced punk rock stuff I'm going to say go with the ZHT. The B8 splashes have a weird heavy tone to them. It just doesn't sound right when you're playing fast although that is probably just me.

I play alternative rock, punk, reggae and cumbia.

I heard zildjian ZHT's and i liked them, but i found more cheap the sabian b8 splash and it sound's good too.

They are pretty much a toss up for me.

The B8s to me have a slightly heavier bell type tone. While the ZHTs have a brighter crashing feel. It is up to the person and the music.

I'd suggest trying both in a drum store with a routine or song you play a lot and see which sounds better. They usually let you try stuff like that in the drum stores around memphis.

Cheap it's hard to say. Sabian Paragons are probably amongst the best sounding splashes I've heard. Those and Zildjian Titanium ZXT series but they discontinued that specific series. Paiste Signature Dark Energy splashes sound pretty good too. No idea about the pricing though.
