thanks kahlan leingod
need to play some GW
wrong account once again
When GW2 comes out, Zee, Atyla and me are all gonna get it. Plus Zee has like 20 other people. Man, gonna roam around those open world pvp as gangs and lynch some bads. -
70kg wasn't amazing at all, didn't do anything spectacular when they vs'd us at lan. Sniping in crossfire is ridiculously easy because everyone's bad+peekers advantage

I'd probably be dropping 30s like that one match I had in West Coast.
gl deviate(mostly the 2 teammates I had during wcg quals)
sucks hob wasn't playing though ^_^ i'd imagine he'd do way better without the 40fps -

Why would we sign up for wcg if we couldn't go? Also, my parents have no say in it. I'm 18 and can make my own decisions. -
Congrats Deviate! Definitely well deserved. If I may give some quick tips in preparation. Bootcamp once or twice before Korea. It may cost you money, but look at it like an investment. LEARN what it's like to play with each other in person and play non stop CF, just running strats and ideas. This is actually something MOST of the competing teams will actually be doing before Korea. I wish you guys luck...Keep your nerves under control and you'll do fine.

Haha, nice choice of words [boot camp] :P. I also would recommend that. Playing with each other over the internet may be fine and dandy, but playing next to each other [as I can imagine] will be much harder. Don't get mad at each other. Don't get mad, period. You're there to have fun, not there to disband your team.
Have a good time though! -

Where would be an ideal place to "bootcamp".... will wcg not have a practice center as WEM did? -

Find a place where all of you can get to, with spending the least amount of money as possible. Then find a LAN center and go play together.
OR
Go to one of your teammates houses that has 5 decent computers.
OR
Go to one of your teammates houses, and bring your computers there.
OR
Everyone webcam while scrimming.
OR
all of the above. -
No. It's actually called bootcamping. All the major teams do this. Things are ALOT different when you take things from the latency of your net to real life. You actually become a team.Haha, nice choice of words [boot camp] :P. I also would recommend that. Yeah, of coarse there will be setups for you to practice. But using one night to get acquainted to your personal team chemistry is different. No one knows how you'll all react. Say Brando get's p%ssed off at you and yells, how would you REALLY take that for the first time? I'm sure you'd get a little flustered...and I as a player would prefer to know how my players work before a competition where thousands of dollars are on the line. You can run bootcamps online, but the true camps are done in person. Basically like a sleepover for one weekend would be fine. Granted you'll have to spend for traveling expenses, but look at it like an investment; If you take it THAT serious.
I'm only giving advice from a higher level. These other teams are all used to playing WITH each other live. Some teams are garbage even when they BC, and someone are on fire after just meeting each other. It's how YOU want to prepare for this event. Your abilities are on point. The only thing that worries me about you guys is HOW will you react to a crowd in front of your face watching you. Chanting for you; Against you. Noise. Player reactions on stage. Butterflies are going to eat you alive...You gotta do your best to factor out the other variables. maybe you guys will do fine 'straight out the box', with no experience playing as a live team. LL did fine...but would they have played better if they actually played more with each other in person? No one knows. Even if you can't get a whole team together to BC. Maybe get 2-3. You'll see...Your perspective on CF and gaming will soon change. Your not playing for ZP now...
I wish you guys the GREATEST luck! -

Why would it matter if it means nothing in the real world; who defines the real world? I think that's a pretty subjective topic. Either way, at least we're going to have some fun, and instinct gets a few months to get some counseling after I showed them watsup.
