Anyone made a MOD for the loading screen?

It's impossible because it's not in the UI files [as far as I've seen], and modding the .rez files is illegal and bannable.

You can't mod because HGWC checks the rez file where the loading screen .dtx file is.

If the rez is changed you won't be able to launch the game.

For little reason...
Only reasons why it's bannable is because...

1) Fake chams can be made and 'give a player and unfair advantage'...(but there are already things that make players stick out like sore thumbs like the pink bunny backpack and the bright white panda backpack...)

2) They want you to shell out cash for skins that you could damn well make yourself...and trust me, people have already made .rez mods for guns...and they look hella awesome compared to the typical copy-pasta gold skins that every damn F2P FPS has. Profit over customization as always...

3) Removal of world textures : Pretty obvious why THIS one is bannable, although it's not really helping in close quarters battles.


Be nice if games would stop worrying about the small things (Oh, so now I can't have a skin with my name on it? Why? Is that giving me a psychological advantage over other players? Doubt it... ) and stay worrying about the real stuff ("Okee, we've now got a hack in the game that allows people to drop other players from the sky to their deaths! What to do, what to do..." I]Btw, there is no such hack, but that DID happen to me once in S&D Downtown[/I)

There is not much harm in modding the skins in game, just like there is no harm in modding the UI (I want to make a cool helmet-style HUD, but I can't because somehow that's going to give me an unfair advantage...)

It's in a Rez file, that I can assure you 100%

Although .Rez editing CAN be done and shouldn't be considered a bannable offense since it's very similar to editing GUI. It gives no advantages what so ever and it's visual.

However as the game and the rules are now. I would suggest forgetting about trying to edit the loading screen.

And I'm assuming you're talking about the loading screen before the login screen, correct? or the loading screen for maps.

To do that you need an xtrap bypass.

So yep it's not legal.
