It's people paying respect to another person.
If someone sneezed and you said "bless you" do you think about their religion when you do it? I'll pre-empt your answer here because I know to troll people you are going to say yes. The question is rhetorical however and meant to point out that it doesn't actually matter what religion the person is when you pay them notice for sneezing.
In this case it's people who feel the need to give some sort of tribute to someone who has passed away. It means more to the person giving the tribute than the person seeing it. Since no one in Steve Jobs' immediate family will likely see your (or their) message on the interwebs.
Since this thread serves nothing but purpose to troll people and just seems like its a blatant attempt at disrespect I'm going to close it.
