I think that you will have time to establish a career but that you have to pick carefully since some of those careers might die because of the economy downfall.

I don't think it's worth our time to think about, but as this post will show, I have haha.

If one takes the time out to work for their goals in life, and achieves them why should one care for other's appraisals of that life? In other words, if you do what you dream of who cares about other's opinions? You have won, in terms of your goals, nothing else should matter.

Also, why must the western world stand on top of the tower, and have the rest of it be subservient to it? Especially considering that the aspiring souls who seek our perch have the motivation and drive to do so.

If anything those who state the world is going down the drain, have a limited view of life. China, Brazil, Russia, and other countries are crossing the border to becoming developed countries. They still have their problems, we have ours. Just because England, the US, and other countries will have to share more power, what will that actually do?

If we're worried about our young people, then frankly we should be ashamed that they couldn't keep up with the changing winds and that we failed to provide the resources required for their success, not chastize the newer people.

The old power system is begining an overhaul, with much of the power remaining in the same hands, but what's beneath the perch is the changing part. A change is occuring for the middle class and under, there will be no siginificant change above that. Since people fear and crave change the reactions of people about the future can be understood.

Obviously, I see it both ways (that or am extremely narrow minded even then), thus see it as changing, not getting worse or better.

My little brother is eleven and what matters to me is if he cusses not in what way, I dissaprove of children/pre-teens cussing.

Well i knew what some words were when i was that age, mostly bast.ard and b1tch, but that's about it and i don't even remember using them except for the few times i got soap in my mouth. It's just sad when i went to an elementary school there was little kids cussing like it was no big deal.

I do not think of my self as a child, I see myself as a young adult. So I agree with you that children (who are immature) should not be cussing, but I also think that mature young adults and up can cuss as long as it's done in an appropriate way.

The question to your statement is actually at what age does a person achieve maturaty and how does that person know that he has matured. I consider myself a child since I am only seventeen (eighteen on 10/30 so happy!) and I refrain from cussing as much as I can although sometimes I cuss for no specific reason.

It depends on the person in question. Someone could be very mature at an early age because of intelligence or having to deal with a rough life.

If you knew my story you would learn that my life has been quite rough, I'm not talking about not having a phone, I'm talking of times were there was nothing to eat, living on the streets, being afraid for my life etc. so if I consider myself immature then either the term for maturaty changes depending on the person or I must not know what maturaty is.

I guess you can count that..

..Quite a lot things can be done in home and no one ever knows except the victim and guilty..

Next stuff I do not mean as a bad way:

You decide whether you survive or not trough all you've experienced.
No one can't do that for you.
They can help you, yes. If you ask help and share your experience with others, nor you can hide it deep inside you and never think of it, if possible.
You can also try to think it trough by yourself, so it wont stay messing with your head that badly later..

middle east did revolutions, so its gonna get way better (in time)
if it wasnt for the Palestine/Israel case, i would say we are getting better, but if this issue isnt solved in the next 5-10 years, i would say there will be a WW3

Little history lesson: 1937 recession. How'd the States get fixed after that? With that event in 1941. Or at least, the employment and economy got better if not better at all.
