In my opinion cf has gone nowhere but downhill in over the past year...

Mainly because I can barely play for 5 minutes without hackers ruining the room.

I was wondering.. Why does the CF staff not do anything about this?

Why do you use Xtrap when it is clearly just about as efficient as windows media player at preventing hack?

The game went from being a great free fps shooter to a hacking/crying festival..

WTF happened?

    agreed, updates only causes more problem, as the "connection has expired" all the time, so many updates and maintenances for nothing.

    I think that is they wanted to, they could easily fix this.

    With all the money that flows in with the zp, one would think that they could stop farming cash for a few days to pay for REAL hack prevention software..

    Instead they are releasing new game modes and new guns to a game that is hardly playable.

    Then I suggest you dont come here jumping to useless conclusions.

    They are doing things. Its rather difficult to catch up with hackers as they work so fast. They have hacks backlogged ready in case XTrap patches. (This is confirmed.. Im not making that part up)
    In addition, XTrap works for a perm fix, not a blanket patch that will be worked around in 20 mins. Over the months the hacks have actually been patched, just more get released.

    Hackers will always be in games... games often have their bad moments... especially F2P games where its so easy.

    XTrap does work. It does catch people and ban then but isnt instantaneous when a player logs in with a cheat. It may catch them halfway through a match and instantly bans them. Much like VAC but it only flags them and delays the ban.
    It does its job. It blocks cheats it knows. Sadly from my understanding, it isnt a heuristic AC and so it doesnt recognise hack code patterns and relys on it being patched. This is the case with most FPS game AC's.


    Z8Games need your patience... granted people are losing it and its understandable but we dont need these posts... the people responsible dont see them and it only gives the Moderators a headache.
