You don't have to be able to make something better just because you don't like something.Beatzaholik wrote: »lol...i wonder if u guyz could make sumthing better then steve jobs did such as ipads, iphones, etc., for the ones that dont like his products...just sayin
Horrible reasoning. -
Yeah this is pretty interesting.moof told me hes going to buy a mac now
Shares are obviously going to drop for a while, but how do you think sales of the 4S will be affected?
The market will have a couple of weeks to recoup since its not being released yet, but do you think people will pity-buy it or just not buy it because they don't have faith in the company? -
Steve Jobs was the reason Apple offered such refreshing, innovative and cool products to the information market, from his old archaic Apple II to the first MacIntosh in 1984 (the first time a computer was sold with a graphic interface and a mouse). After he got fired in 1985 by the administration board, Apple went on a decline and became the laughing stock of many PC users. Very few products were released for the MacIntosh, everything seemed to be leaned towards Windows and the IBM Compatible PC motto.
Steve Jobs eventually came back to Apple in 1996 when they bought NeXT, a society that Jobs had founded a few years before. Two years later, the first iMac was released to the market (remember all the funky colors?). Apple was finally getting back on track and reminiscent of Jobs' 80 approach: innovative and cool. But SJ wouldn't only stick to computers, nah the man had far greater vision. In 2001, the famously known iPod was marketed along with iTunes, and the greatly successful commercials. Mac OS X came the year after, standardizing all Apple products under one main operating system. The 2000's decade was all about the transition to the Digital Era, Steve Jobs and Apple were leading the charge. Let's not forget the 2007 iPhone and the 2010 iPad, also.
I don't get why some people would show little respect to what this man has done in his time, he was the voice and the face of Apple. In 35 years he brought a little company in California to a world-leading multiplatform one. He was the most influential and respected man in Silicon Valley and it's a real shame we have to say farewell now, he could have done it for another 20 years, he was only 56 years old...
I've been a PC user since 1992, when my parents bought our first desktop, an old 486 DX/2. I've always been pro-IBM Compatible and anti-Mac, and the only Apple product I bought is an iPod Shuffle that is my best companion when I travel. Yet I can honestly say Steve Jobs was a genius and such a great influence in his trade.
He will be missed, I hope Apple can hire another visionary.. but probably no one will be able to be like Steve Jobs.
Requiescat in pace. -

Wow this is sad and awful news. Of course None of us here knew him, he was very inspirational. This is just horrible news. One of the best created devices, iPod touch, was the best engineered devices on the planet. He started the "tablet revolution",
If Bill Gates died, it would be a party. May Mr. Jobs ingenious company live on..*sigh*
First Jack Layton, now Steve Jobs. This has got to be a ****ty year. -

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were close friends for decades, and Bill Gates influenced the computing industry more than Apple ever will. -
Without him apple is going to have a hard time as he was the one inventing all these innovations.
RIP Steve Jobs..
Well I hate to be that guy but; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Industrial_Design_Group
Apple, as any company who makes designer product, has a huge department for it. -
Well yea.Well I hate to be that guy but; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Industrial_Design_Group
Apple, as any company who makes designer product, has a huge department for it.
But for all these people Steve was a mentor and apple just got what it is today because Steve Jobs returned, without him apple would've been dead quite a while ago.
Or not dead but at least it wouldn't be as "famous" as it is now.
