Completely remove breath down
Hey community,
I am sick of it. Yeah u're right, I damn hate "breath down"...
It's because of those who think that breath down is a "must have" to be good at Ghost Mode. Let me tell you something "breath down"-ers: It has nothing to do with skill if yuo're using BD and kill someone because
- its nearly impossible to hear a ghost using breath down
- if you hear a BDer he is three steps infront or beside you - you are dead right after you heard his breath
So if some of you still think that people can onlz be good at GM using breath down here are some tipps for you
- if you can do the "bunnyhop" GRs will not hear your breath
- if you think I am a noob who just cant pay GM try to find a BDer - ask a friend or someone else - you will see that BD is the sylliest thing you can buy in CrossFire.It is just unfair
- if you think you get better at GM using BD here is what every pro GM player will say to you: IF YOU CAN NOT PLAY GM ITS POINTLESS TO BUY BD! You only get better in GM if you practice. Buy a headset and learn to listen to sound AND learn to bunnyhop...
What I want to say is:
Z8Games, I know you only want to make benefit with CrossFire. May that is the reason why there is the DSR1-DC now but breath down is just unfair because no one can really "hear" BD - okay maybe if you turn your sound over maximum and destroy your ears because of all those sprayers you can find in GM...
Please remove BD from CF - everyone would be happy about this.

you ]3p1C..F41L, If we dont have BDown every dude with a Headset can hear us. which would mean GR would be overpowered since they'll always hit us unless you can bhop away which will fail if they spray at you since when 1 bullet hits u ustop moving sometimes. -

Wrong - i hear it perfectly fine and i dont have the best setup my comp is almost 4 years old now and obviously doesnt have the best sound card and i still hear is perfectly well

Wrong - I can hear bhoppers approaching, there is a slight delay but as i have good ping it isnt that bad and i can usually dodge or kill them.
True - I think your a noob. No all pro players will not say it is pointless - 1 - there is no such thing as a pro in cf as professionals get paid to do their job/sport/whateverelse. 2 - I think i am a decent GR player and i believe GM is FAAAAAARRRRRRRRR too easy without bdown users around and I know many that also think the same. I use headphones obviously and i know how to bunny hop already.What I want to say is:

They do not make much profit on BD as it is for GP only - the only way they will make real money off the item is if someone buys zp and exchanges it for GP in the mall. And i dont have my sound on max and i dont destroy my ears - but sprays are a nuisance and usually get kicked from the rooms i play in as I get alot of friends in the same room.

There are enough "noobknives" like "Kukri", "Shovel", "Katana" and the latest "Kris". It would not matter to me if they use them WITHOUT breath down but most of the ghosts I see use BD and one of the noobknives.
If they only used a noobknife you still would be able to pinpoint them.
@headshotter: You can't pinpont huh? Thats the reason why you are using BD and the reason you are posting this s***, right? -
they should not remove breath down and you shouldn't even consider it yourself man. without breath down it would really be like farming, even off good players o.O some people like going against breath downers because it forces you to get better. some people like a challenge

To be honest with you this is true
Unless you have 24-54 ping you get breath delay
breath down +Delay + Backwards super fast b hop = team bash
I dont use it , and my Gm record is almost perfect
Its unfair because Ghosts are invislbe , Faster and use one hit kill weps
While Gr are slower , Visible , and most of the time have crappy Pcs -

Ok, take it from someone who KNOWS Ghost Mode.. Breath Down does NOT mean no breath, it is actually quite easy to hear! And say there is someone who can perfect the bhop and doesn't have bd.. what if he has knife? He's practically dead if he gets close coz of his breath, and then, his only 1 hit kill is right click headshot. If you can't play against ghosts, don't play ghost mode. And I'm pretty sure that those people who can't play ghost mode use breath down as a way to get some kills. They love it. Leave them. -

Ye, i don't quite understand how it works. Right click on the back is like 90% chance of 1 hit kill, and right click on the chest is like 70% chance 1 hit kill. I've also gotten 1 hit kill by using right click on leg.. which doesnt quite make sense frankly. -

it's lower back and stomach
you probably thought you hit their legs but you hit just above them -

Upper back also counts as 1 hit kill, and is probably 2nd most common to headshot.
And yeh, you may be right, i might have hit lower back. -

Breath down is a counter to pinpointing. A skilled enough pinpointer has an advantage over a non BD ghost since you can pretty much hear them half the map away.- if you can do the "bunnyhop" GRs will not hear your breath
False. I can detect bunnyhoppers with pinpointing. Hmm.. The only people who would be happy bout this are those that can't play, and constantly spam in game " OMG! BD NOOB! OMG! KICK! ".
Breathdown is a useful tool, and if used wisely, is almost the only way to perform well against real pro's.
I have breathdown, and if for even 1 second i am not bhopping across the map and I'm playing against a true pro, that's it, I'm as good as dead, coz he has locked on to me and then it's just pinpointing vs escaping with bhop..
And yes, players like this actually exist without being hackers or wallers or etc..
And no, I am NOT a noob, I'm actually quite good at ghost mode tyvm.. -
6 of the ghost were B hoppers with breathdown.
Quoting a previous score.
6 of the ghost had B down and good B hops and a seventh could B hop.
I'm not even as good as the Tourny players and I still managed a 31/12 score against them.
Its much harder to be good as a ghost then it is to beat a ghost.
