Got my new PC built.

Plus I like the Sniper series more.
because the 590 would still have only work as a 2.0 and not 3.0 because the card IS 2.0, like putting a 2.0 in a usb 3.0, no diff.
Plus I went with this mobo because
3x FULL x16 slots, not an 16 and 2 x8's. More features, OC frienly dual bios. and it matches my case, Everything I need. And why would I need to upgrade my PC again? Ill have 2 590's in quad SLI, Give me a game, I can play it. I shoud be good for 10 years
and OCing the gfx card wont be hard when I get the liquid cooling on those.
We have 8 cores sitting on the edge of release. We have ivy bridge waiting to come out. You see the recommended specs on most games? Getting to be a lot of i7's on there.
Give it 5 years and your PC will be obsolete. -

Enjoy your blu rays without a HD screen.
10 YEARS? O.O
As I said, I'm not done with my PC. I'm still using an old 19inch VGA scren with a gaping hole in it, a year ago I was cleaning my other wide HD screen when I bent the screen to much and made a rainbow with the screen. Bye bye 300 bucks... so now I'm getting 3x 22" DVI screens for nvidia surround. -

Mk so I upgrade my mobo and processor. Big whoop! EVGA offers a step up program, not to mention a 3 yr warranty on my mobo. -

How... how did you.. WHAT!?
How did you do that!?!?! -

OR you could have just gotten the stuff now, and not had to pay even more later.
Your rig isn't bad, but you FAR overpaid. -
-
The hole? BB gun. Couldnt get it to shoot. and it went off into my scren -.-" But no dead pixells!!!! Now my "perfect" 4 screens from my 3 alienwares ALL had dead pixels.
No.. how in the hell did you BEND a screen while cleaning it!?
How did you accidently fire a BB gun at your screen.... -

No, THIS creen has a bb gun hole, the other 1 got bent.
Took it off its mount to clean it, and I pushed to hard.
cousins bb gun was jammed, I tried fixing it and boom! c02 fired BB into screen.
atm 33% of my memory is being used. 25 bucks MORe for ram, not bad.350 for a cpu? cheap. 750 for a graphics card? Eh... little OP'ed yes, but beats paying 450 EACH for 2 580's being this PC has 2 580's in 1 card. -

How are you using 33% with 16gb RAM?!?!
$350 is not cheap for a CPU...
I paid roughly $250 for my card that outperforms yours.
You would be better paying for a 570... it outperforms a 590..
What OS are you using.. also is it x32 or x64? -

Yes 350 is considering its unlocked for OCing, so when I get my h80 I will be OCing it to 4.2 GHz
Out performs mine how?
I run black ops on max settings at only 42*C
Windows 7 x64 Professional
My bad 23%, I have a crap load of stuff going. -

It outperforms it... how do you not understand?
I run it maxxed at the same... usually less.
£20 case. Umad? -

The 6950 2GB outperforms near enough anything out there right now.
The only advantage your card has, is recording, and even then the 6950 won't struggle to record anything.
Pound for pound, the 6950 is the best card money can buy. -

My card runs alot cooler. Radeon over heats, thats why I chose nvidia. -
Explain how it outperforms my dual GPU card.
Don't care how much you paid for your case, I needed a large one anyways.
On benchmarking tests it way outperforms it.... on a rig very similar to yours.
Mine is obviously large....My card runs alot cooler. Radeon over heats, thats why I chose nvidia.
How does that make any sense?! -

Radeon cards run 10-20*F hotter then a Nvidia card.
Actually card IS faster then the 6950

And it has dual GPU's to process more. -

You're not very experienced in computing, are you?
I'm an nVidia user, I'm not afraid to admit my card will overheat long before most AMD cards of the same specs would. -

Synthetic benchmarks =/= actual performance.
Dual gpus to process more? REALLY?
Dual 6950s. To process more. Still spent less than you. YOU MAD? -
Plus nvidia is a part of intel, intel has always been been more costly then AMD.
I prefer Intel over AMD.
One or more cards in this comparison are multi-core. This means that their bandwidth, texel and pixel rates are theoretically doubled - this does not mean the card will actually perform twice as fast, but only that it should in theory be able to. Actual game benchmarks will give a more accurate idea of what it's capable of. -

Then explain why my card runs cooler than yours... my card has 2 huge fans and heat pipes on it.
Thats all Theoretical calculations...
These are actually tested.

not really no, I love my card and I dont give a rats ass if the 6950 is faster. I still love my card and there is no changing that. -

6 month old benchmarks? really?
As stated, the 590 is a down clocked dual 580 with internal SLi. But it can be re-clocked.
How I know the benchmarks are old? The card is priced at 1,000 USD. That was when it first debuted. I would argue this more if the bench marks were up to par.
Plus 1 GTx 590 was 250 dollars CHEAPER then 2 580's in SLI. And takes up less space. -
Rip off? how so? 1 590 has 2 580s in it, not to mention runs hell of alot cooler then the 580. at just 79-82*c idle. and while in CF.
I got the 150 dollar HDD because it was 10,000 RPM, and it was part of a combo.
Say what u want, I love it.
Mars 2 from ASUS has two 580s. I believe the 590 is two 550s -

Benchmarks. Because the performance continues to go down as the cards get older.
