Failed to execute HGWC!

I really need help on this error! Every time i press start to go to crossfire an error show saying Failed to execute HGWC. i re installed it a couple of times and still the same error! i tried playin it in my dad's laptop it works, but my dad is stingy. y can't i playit in my laptop. plshelp!

    Send me a message of what your computers info is. Like what year and processor's it has so I have a image of what I can try to suggest to help you out. But sometimes this is because of a patch or missen file. Try re-downloading it, but this time from a different download. Like East or West I think their called. Try every window. N also try the CF downloader it's self. The one I use is West-Window 1. It works for me, but takes a good 20-35 mins to download. If this does not help, try installing a .DLL fixer(Google it) This might help but this is for "ONLY" missen .DLL files. If it doesn't help uninstall the .DLL fixer since It will only take up space since not needed.

    have u tried completely uninstalling CF setup and everything because sometimes that helps also try right clicking on properties then compatibilty and check the box that says turn advanced text off or summit like that if it doesnt work i dont know anyother suggestions
