Pimp My Gun - Make Your Own Firearms

You see, that's what I was looking for, an explanation! Well done, Swift.Hahah, yeah I know I have a ton of rail covers on there; but I do that purposefully. They're intended to be battle plating that protects the weapon from incoming fire. But I understand the criticism.

A fine-looking CAR-15.... used someone's magazine and did a tiny bit of editing to it.

I'm a big fan of the suppressor. Something about odd angles at the end of barrels, and weight compensators that really help the aesthetic appeal of weaponry. -
It's Sweet.water (Damn swear filter >_>), that's for sure. Maybe it's SPW Woitek's mag?someone's magazine
I remade my AR, because I just got done GoW3 and I want a knife gun O_O
(Image is PNG format, so it's not the best quality)
Pastie is available as usual, for people who want the parts. (Sorry for hauking the fire selector idea, Bay) -
It was a good attempt, but it failed the same way mine did... It is waaaay too cluttered to look niceSomeone a while ago asked if anyone had attempted to make an "OICW" like weapon, and so I figured I'd make an attempt at it. It's again in the futuristic/sci-fi style series of weapons I've been making.
Well, hope it isn't terrible.

How the **** are you supposed to hold this. -
Holding a gun's the same thing as driving a car. If you don't feel feedback and control from the grip/steering wheel, you're going to feel disconnected from it.
That's why many enjoy holding the gun from the magazine well to balance the gun better, even when there's a forward grip on the gun.
Also, colors aren't a good indicator of a selector switch, especially when you have a burst fire setting or single fire setting. -
I know, but I had volleyball, and time wasn't something I had. It's saved, so I'll make some adjustments tomorrow.Holding a gun's the same thing as driving a car. If you don't feel feedback and control from the grip/steering wheel, you're going to feel disconnected from it.

"Looks nice" isn't the same as "is nice."
A heavy gun promotes stability in firing and reduces recoil.
However, that weight needs to be in the core of the gun, or the stock.
That's why in competition rifle teams, if a shooter wants to add more weight, they can usually tape some ballast to the inside of the stock.
Also same issues as before, no way to grip the magwell, colored firing switches. -
Alright. Tomorrow, I'm taking only the core components of the gun, and I'll change the fire switches (I know I forgot something O_O)"Looks nice" isn't the same as "is nice."

Bored, made these two rifles quickly.

M16A1 Sniper Rifle.
Not much more than a stock M16A1 with a Leupold scope hastily attached to the carrying handle/ironsights. Not much of a sniper rifle, but well rounded considering you could just detach the scope and you had a stock M16A1 again.
Fires 5.56 NATO cartridges from standard 20/60 box magazines, semi-auto. Right click activates single powered zoom.
M16A4 Designated Marksman Rifle
Good god, it seems like the US military has a lot of sniping systems in the War against Terrorism, doesn't it?
An M16A4 with the rear sight/carrying handle replaced with a 4x32 zoom ACOG sight, a heavier 20 inch barrel for more stable firing, and a bi-pod. Used by Designated Marksman for medium/long range interdiction.
Fires 5.56 NATO cartridges from standard 30/90 round STANAG box magazines. Semi-Auto firing. Right click activates single power zoom -

Nothing special. Comments?
Edit: Oh shit... Bottom of the page.. Now no one is going to see it..
Looks pretty solid. .-. Scope seems a little big though. But that's just me. -
couple awsome pistols for giggles, who wouldnt want to increase the accuracy of the most powerful hand guns in the world. desert eagle and the s&w .500!
just have to image the s&w now has internal hammer, and the slide on the eagle looks like it will still work -
The Blending is good, but thanks to the PMG group, I keep seeing it as preset >.< Those guys are gods of PMG. BTW, if you need any parts off my weapon set (Wirestock, front hand-guard, etc...) I keep all projects in pastie form.RequiemZero wrote: »

And to Badsack, your ideas are good, but they need to be executed slightly better.
Just got done this... It's still a WIP, but it's gonna look BA when I'm done.

I got bored again.
AK-74 Designated Marksman Weapon
An AK-74 outfitted for Designated Marksman purposes. Features a picatinny front grip to attach various things to the front of the gun, and the PSO-1 scope. The PSO-1, back when it was first introduced on the SVD, was the most advanced scope of its time, and had unique chevron crosshairs and was illuminated by a small lamp.
Fires the 5.45 cartridge from 30/90 box magazines. Semi automatic, single zoom. Synthetic green furniture instead of wooden furniture.
I was still bored, so I edited this.
AKS-74U Suppressed with BS-1 Tishina 30mm Grenade Launcher
An AKS-74U assault rifle suppressed with the PBS-1 Suppressor (It SHOULD be the PBS-4, but PMG doesn't have that yet) and the BS-1 Tishina (Russian for "silence") 30mm grenade launcher. The Tishina, as its name implies, was a silent grenade launcher designed for the Spetznaz and intended for covert operations. Combined with the PBS-4 suppressor, the entire weapon system was very quiet and maneuverable due to its small size.
Fires the 5.45 cartridge from 30/90 box magazines. Fully automatic. Synthetic green furniture instead of wooden furniture. -
Alright, last one since this one took so damn long
I present, custom made, the AR-10
This ain't no Assault Rifle, think Battle Rifle like the FAL. Originally intended to serve as the main rifle for the U.S, it was rejected. This rifle stood as the predecessor to the AR-15(M16). It fires a higher calibre round than that of the M16/M4A1 and therefore is more powerful, albeit with much more recoil.
Fires the 7.62 mm NATO round from 20/60 waffle magazines. Fully automatic.
