Here is the story, So I have 2 laptop one windows 7 64 bit and one where i always play cf on 32 bit win7. The problem is on the windows 7 64 bit i got such a high ping but 120+ fps and it lags every now and then then on my window 7 34 bit i got low ping but also low fps is 32 bit better or do you think my winodw 7 64 bit has a problem? what do you think? Please comment.

    but as for on topic might be due to hardware that u have higher ping on the 64bit since there 2 seperate laptops as you have so clearly put and the fps issue will be down to your on board graphics chipset for your 32 bit you can try updating the drivers or even try finding a cheap laptop graphics card that would fit into the laptop

    alternatively you can try this

    1. Open regedit
    2. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
    3. There will be an entry for network performance throttling, default value is 10; set it to FFFFFFFF(8 F's) hex (will look like 0xFFFFFFFF to the right of the entry)
    4. Reboot

    first thing is DO A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT incase something goes wrong just boot into safe mode and use system restore

    I DO NOT GUARANTEE THIS WILL WORK

    this did however work for me a long time ago a, long time ago being last september :P but my ping is still the same today
