extended loding since patch

i never had to update a video card before why should i have to now i cant update crd because its not free i tryed all day updating video card,i never had to update anything before why now ive been on almost a yr.i love the game please help me...it worked fine till the new patch please help me thanks for your time i know u guys r busy but help me...
