No god damn sound effects

Just after this new patch to fix the hacking, I have no sound effects.
Well, in game anyways. No footsteps, no gun fire, no water splashing. Nothing.
Just the grunt of my character dying when someone sneaks up behind me.

The same happened to me a few months ago... I reinstalled te sound driver and restarted the system... and it worked

Nope. Even after a fresh download and installation of my sound card drivers and the game itself, I still have no in-match sound effects.

Good to know that when Z8 puts their mind to it, they can screw up anything.

No god damn sound effects
