People whine about playing vs "laggers" and hackers all the time, why not at least try a draft or try scrimming because to be honest I find being in a competitive team way funner than playing laggy cheaters all the time. Its not for everybody, but i bet some of you public players would be interested.

Why don't you give playing competitive a shot? I'm sure out of the sixty members your clans all have on average at least 5 of them are interested in playing leagues and just being competitive. If I may ask what holds you back?
Do you not know who to ask or where to go?
Does the communities attitude hold you back?
I'm really curious and this thread is for basically everyone, 99% of you guys on the foru era hate - scar light, m12, cheaters and playing with people who don't speak your language. Almost all of those are fixed by just going and playing a few scrims against teams or pinning it out in echo 8 or whatever else.
Doesn't it seem logical to just go do it? There really is nothing that any of us have against you, some of the competitive community will flame, call you a pubstars, or whatever else. But there are just as many of us who would pop in your vent or mumble and help you out, explain strays go over things you are doing wrong and answer any questions you might have.
So let's hear it, why don't you play competitive?

i have enough competition and communication in RL. when i find the time to play videogames i just want to kick back, spam the clanchat and pub it out. of course you can also have casual scrims...i remember the last scrim in my old clan where some egyptians
toggled their speedhack when we were one round from the win. they took the match. epic base-battle. not really a battle. more like going down instantly each round. so that kind of postponed my competitive carreer

A few people from the competitive community are starting to catch on, and are doing their part. I just want to try and get some sort of friendly event going to let people see that the competitive community isn't completely bad. -

Probably because they have no need to satisfy their egos by being competitive on a poorly run game and play for fun only.
I do real things that matter to satisfy me and play CF in my spare time for fun.
^^This. Plus, some of us are too busy waiting for Battlefield 3 to leave beta, to really care that much at this point (Yes, I have a computer capable of running it: HD 6970, i7-2600k @ 5 ghz, etc). Not knocking the people who do, but the egomaniacs who bash pubbers really need to get their packages BACK in their pants and get a life. Seriously. It's like they have serious psychiatric anger control problems or something, just because they scrim (and they can't do anything about pubbers, except whine)...
Plus, CSS and COD are serious business, not CF...(at least outside of Asia). -

in my team - we have the odd strat session here and there for each map, just to show where we went wrong in the match before or whatever - then it's basically if we have 5 on, we'll scrim, if not we'll just chill, play a little minecraft, pub, whatever; until we have 5.

A little word to the wise.
Opening up and being friendly to players does not only mean you are friendly to those who agree with you. Being a good example and bringing others to a new mentality of what Muffin is try to do also means showing control with those who don't agree with you. Remember, half of these players don't like the competitive community for their attitude. -

I can be very nice actually , but i just can't stop trolling people on forums couse they're so dumb and hack (SHEEEEEN) , 7ero (Duppert) didn't mention anything bad about me trolling , so why da fuuu shud I stop , u have yet to know me or play in a team with me and you'll see how nice I am. -
I think those people who actually want to go competitive can't because they think they are not good enough to play on a higher level. For example i once didn't even know that there was a competitive seen for crossfire until i join Ayce. old clan bad and go really competitive. And i think ayce has led me in the right direction i may of not made the right choices but hes the one i look up to for advice and guidance to play better as a player.
