About the UK5 new level requirement.

Can't understand you guys, you wanted a high level requirement for a server, and now that you could enjoy a game with less rookies/"alt-account cheaters" you don't make its proper use.
I know that you've asked for a Second Lieutenant - Only server, but this is an experiment. If this turns out to be a success the rank requirement may be changed to Lt. Though if nobody plays in there but a few dozens of players then the rank requirement will be reversed again to Trainee.
Just a little heads-up.
no one plays in uk 5 you should have made uk 4 the server for higher requirement!!!! -
NA people stop saying that it shouldnt be an UK server, I apreciate they put a SFC req in that server and I would be glad to play there, I really dont know why it is this empty, if it wasnt I would play there and wait for LT+ Req.
If you put a NA server with those reqs please dont forget the Uk people, leave the server for a while and see if it gains more attention, if it doesnt you can always change uk 3 2 or 1 to LT+.
But z8games is listening, that's a good start, players are being stupid tho, an LT+ server would be almost a problem solver regarding the hackers, dont remove it and give it time

pff... this is a bad idea. No one is playing on the server because it's still to low. If you guys made it LT or higher only it would be full now. And many ppl don't even noticed the change.

We wanted to fill the UK5 with more players so we changed the requirement on demand of the community. More players on a server = higher chances of keeping the server running. Everyone wins.
Players wanted a higher-level server requirement and so we did... well kind of. You know this is an experiment. As I said this improvement may be changed in the future... for better or for worse. You decide. -

Higher ups say, "Hey look, if tons of people played on a server that was once deserted just because of a rank requirement, we should give them a higher rank requirement! That "experiment" has helped us see that it will still be used."
A few weeks later, more requirements are implemented.
Everybody is happy.
Scenario 2
No people playing in UK Channel 5.
Higher ups say, "Wow, adding the rank requirement did nothing, and it gave people even less incentive to play. It's not a good idea, let's not give them the higher rank requirement servers."
A few weeks later, the server is reverted to normal.
Everybody goes on the forums and complains, "WHY DIDN'T WE GET THE LT+ SERVER? Z8 NEVER LISTENS TO US!"
Get the point? -

Your right, I try to play at UK5 but no people there, if at least a room was made there I would be glad to move there, no problem cuz the ping is the same. -

You don't get the fact here, it's taking baby steps. If nobody wants to take a step up, and play in the SFC or higher server, what makes you think they will take a massive step up to LT? It's all a test. Eventually it will progress up to an LT server, but for now, what's the point if people could care less about an SFC server? People don't see the macro, they just look at the micro, and how it's affecting them.
Say there is going to be an LT server, in UK 5 later, that even makes it harder to enter, meaning there could possibly even less activity there, even making it as bad to have to shut it down.
It's like saying, I don't like bread, but I'll eat a sandwich! -

SFC to some is a goal, to other's it's a thing of the past. It all depends on how you look at it. People won't hack as much on their SFC accounts, if they can just make a rookie account. Trust me, an LT server will come eventually, but the willingness of the higher ups to do it could be based on this one test. -

I have to disagree with you on that one.
SFC is way different from LT while bread is almost the same as a sandwich.
If they had put LT right away you would see much more activity there as the games would be more competitive with little to no hackers.
Bar rank is way different then SFC or Mast. Sarg ranks. -

SFC is part of LT, you have to pass by SFC to get to LT. Bread is a part of a sandwich, you have to have gotten bread to make a sandwich. Bread is basically sandwich with added toppings [meat, etc.]. SFC is a part of LT. You can't skip from Sergeant to Lieutenant by regular player means.
So, what I'm saying is. If the SFCs, Master Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captains, Majors, and so on don't want to play on an SFC required server [which by the way, there are tons of SFCs and Master Sergeants], what's to say that only the Lieutenants, Captains, Majors, and so on will play on the LT required server.
Think about it, there are tons more of SFC - Marshall compared to LT - Marshall. Less people to play on the servers, means most likely less of a population in the server. From past experience, if people see SFC required, they'll play in it if they want. Nothing will influence them, not even seeing LT required.

There aren't any guarantees. Moderators honestly don't know everything that goes on, we're just regular players as well, mind you. We don't work at the building, and aren't even staff for Z8Games.
What we say, could be obsolete, and the server could stay, it's all speculation [I find myself saying that a lot these days]. -

Yea, I know you guys just offer to help Gm's and take care of the forums.
Anyways Uk5 is not very well known cuz players just go to their usual servers but Z8 has done everything they could, players could care more seriously.
I know LT+ servers was posted alot on these forums and if we dont take this oppurtunity they might just say "oh, if they dont care, why should we?"..
Cmon peeps we gotta spread the message: PLAY ON UK5!! -
