What do you mean by "reg"?
If you're talking about hit registration then in order to have better reg you have to play on servers closer to your location.
We can't provide servers in locations that do not belong to US/CAN/UK/SA.
SA servers are being added in the future. -

Australia mate, and yes i am talking about hit registration and would also like to add the Quickswitch factor, how come in other games the speed of the switch doesn't change no matter what the ping is. And this game has absoulotley bad hit registration system, and would also like to add west server is not stable at all and the ping isn't stable and no, it is not my internet, because i never lagg in this way in any other game, and also are you guys planning on improving the hit reg, even people with low ping complain from the bad hit registration. -

No wonder... you live in Australia and complaining about hit reg....
i dont even..... -
There's nothing that can happen if you live in Australia. No servers are implemented there, so it's not even possible for you to get decent ping on Z8Games' Cross Fire. The only way would be to seek out a closer version.
The registry is fine if you have less than 70 ping and are playing against other players with less than 70 ping. Other than that, registry does become a problem because of the simple fact that people take longer to send information to the servers.
As for the quickswitching option. There is one. It's based on your ping, however. Because you live far away from servers, the time that it takes you to send information to the server could be delayed one or two seconds compared to somebody playing in North America.
It's all location. I would seek out other versions of the game if you want better registry. -

Because you got your UK Server
.
But seriously, the lowest mine has ever been was at 9, and it was because I was playing from Toronto. I went back to my house, and still get the 17-20 range.
I rarely play UK server. I prefer Echo
I often get 98 ping in Echo
Lowest its been for me on UK servers was 7 -

don't know what ck is on about. i am from australia myself, i'm happy with my reg. we basically just miss out on midair shots, etc.
dot didn't mention a hawaii server which would make a small difference, but yeah. whatevs, he's just upset.
offtopic, ck... how'd it feel getting cut from fact? -

And thats why laggers can come around a corner and see you first if you have a low ping...
They get our(low ping) information before we recieve theirs... Causing them to tank and have an advantage. -

you sure are happy with the reg when you are complaining about reg in every game, and when are you going to grow up and stop acting like a 12 year old, why aren't you in west 7 farming.
Also @ rabbz i THINK ping has little to NO effect on who sees who first, i think that's about FPS, correct me if i am wrong, and also as stated before, PING in most other games have no effect on the Quickswitch factor, so why does ping have such a HUGE effect in CF.
And i was reading a thread in the comptetive section the other day about why doesn't this game have a big comptetive community when we have approximatley 300,000 players playing this game, and i really liked the point of some guy who said BECAUSE this game offers such a HUGE advantage for low ping, when a good amount of the community doesn't have low ping -

Always makes me laugh when i see someone say high pingers have the advantage.
