Pls help me i have 2 errors in the game... :

*Hack tool Deected (1)(2.0) this one appear always after 20 sec enter in the game.

and the other one:

* Xtrap Error : [The game execute file is not normal or an abnormal memory acces has been detected]

Antivirus : Kaspersky Internet Security 9.0.0.736

I use Tune up 2011

i Never Use Hack tools or ilegal programs...

What more do u need?

Your obviously running a program that is interfering with the game itself. This includes Anti-Virus's or other gaming/third-party programs that need an overlay, or connection while in effect. Just try closing some programs, especially your firewall and such, then just re open it when your done playing CrossFire.

personally, i will re-install the game to see if it changes anything.
if not uninstall the Kaspersky which is considerably aggressive the the idea of Internet Security. then try the game or even just reinstall again.

to try first ....turn off [ 100% ] ur AntiVirus system before start the game.

Give it a try and them start the game from zero.

Let's see if it's work.

for the 1st problem, I have to say that, it is most likely just a bug from the patch. Many people have been having this error recently and there has been no word from the GM or MOD's on how to work around it.

2nd problem. I can't find the thread Saiden placed... Basically, he had some x-trap files that you can use to reset X-Trap which might fix your problem.

I still can't find the thread so instead, disable your Anti-virus when you download and install CF. Reason being, the anti-virus will quaratine these files before proper installation which will cause your game to malfunction.

Once you have the game installed, add all Cross Fire folders to an exceptions list both on your Anti virus and firewall.

Then the only thing I can think of is checking your internet connections. Because if anyone else can use your account, even if it's next door, then that means it's either your PC or your internet service and not CF.

Try doing maitenance on your PC. Running Disk Defragment and Disc cleaner. Also use CCleaner (free @ Cnet) which will help with deleting files you don't need and fixing your registry.

You could try remove your CF files then turn your whole antivirus off and re-install the game, after you are re-installed the game you can turn your antivirus back on.

I also had this problem, Make a new Computer Account (Also give administrator permission) Then start Crossfire from that new account, Done. Cant find crossfire ?

Windows 7: Press on the windows logo at left bottom -> type in the search block: Crossfire

Windows XP: Press on Start -> Click Search -> Type in: Crossfire

This way you wont get these error anymore.

That proves a program you have running on your user account is causing the problem. Close ALL processes you do not need to play Crossfire with.

1GB intel HD graphics
no antivirus or firewall or windows defender
lateset CF client (v1074)

Download and install game boster, that program will stop every progam that you dont need to be open so your cross runs faster, with luck it will stop the program who made's the error S

lol, I like how people post useless crap to try and help you on this problem.
Here is an actual answer, if your willing to perform all the steps given.

Utilize the program CCleaner to uninstall crossfire, and clean out the registry of its existence.

Delete the Crossfire Folder in MyDocuments.
Delete the Z8games Folder in C:\ProgramsandFiles(x86) - or just C:\ProgramsandFiles

[Do This also]

Find Run.exe on your computer - RUN.
Type in: msconfig
Select the Services Tab, check "Hide all Microsoft Services", everything that appears in the list needs to be unchecked.
Now select the Startup Tab and uncheck everything.
Next, select Apply and click ok.

Restart The Computer.

Turn off all AntiVirus/the Firewall.

Download a new Install Client from Z8games, install the game. Run it as Administrator.

WOW i'm not sure how to fix this but try uninstalling anti virus then uninstall crossfire.When i say uninstall crossfire i dont mean just going to control panel and uninstalling it i mean delete all crossfire files and folders.also get gamebooster,disk cleaner etc.I hope this helps if it does and u want to gift me the zp my InGame Name is _mR.AzN*Swag
